You can save a bunch on a Vitamix by buying a refurbished one from the company via their website. They are completely guaranteed. I am not sure how the prices compare to new today as it was a couple of years ago when I looked into it. Back then the savings was substantial. I didn't end up buying one as I got a new one through a casino giveaway.
We have a manual spiralizer....I don't know if they have automatic ones but if they do consider it because it takes a lot of cranking. Zucchini "pasta" is quite good. The challenge, at least for the manual one we have, is that you need fairly straight and proportioned zucchini for it to work right. Not a huge deal but you have to be picky about your vegetables.
Also on farmers markets...it took me some research and a few experimental visits to find a good one in my area that's become my weekly go to. For your juicing it probably doesn't make much of a difference, but for eating nothing beats freshly picked lettuce, greens, beets (with the greens).
