Mickey, how about a picture of Legendary Waters Casino on the shores of Lake Superior in WI. I have yet to see the new casino they built a few years ago.

Ah, the "Hole in the Wall Casino." That was the name of the place before they built the new casino as shown in your picture and renamed it. I had my biggest one day win ever there, then they kicked me out. I do miss that place. Here is picture of the old place.

Rather than just filling up your tanks, I always wondered how someone could take advantage of low gas prices. Perhaps a special type gas card where you lock in the price from when you bought the card and would good up to 1 or 2 years or something like that.
Perhaps there is a way to do it via the market.
Yes you can do this. You can lock in the price for 42,000 gallons at a time buying a futures contract on the commodity exchange. You can buy contracts over a period of months, selling shares to participants in your futures club... sorta like a "time share" but instead of days in a hotel, it's gallons delivered at a certain time.
I don't know anyone who actually does this but your post gave me the idea.
Find enough participants to use 42,000 gallons (one contract for 1,000 barrels @ 42g/bl and you've got your own gas coop.
