The last quarter was down. 20k down from the high point of the year back in the fall, just before that very negative week that we talked about.

But the year overall very good. My second best Blackjack year of my career.

However. My non- blackjack supplemental AP machine play, was down significantly. $8200. I have averaged better than 20k supplemental machine play for years prior. AND more than half of my $8200 occurred before my partner passed in early April. This portion of my AP play was already declining, due to casinos tightening up offers. And with my Partner, who handled all this play, now gone, I just don't have the time, nor desire to invest much time in this aspect any more. I am willing to let this supplemental part of my AP go. I am now playing just enough to keep some food offers rolling in so I can eat for free each day. That is likely to be the extent of my supplemental play going forward. I am back to my blackjack roots.
Hey kJ, I’m one that has valued your posts - and advice - for at least two years now as a lurker. I don’t know or care what happened at the other forums where you got banned, but I’m glad you found this forum where free speech and debate is allowed.

Since you’ve been doing this for over ten years, I have a very general questions I hope you will answer. During your bj play, have you ever been a member of a team, or have you only worked as a lone wolf? It appears that most people on this site are lone wolfs. I’ve entertained joining a team for weekends, but so far haven’t gone down that road. I’ve heard too many horror stories about how team play can go wrong.

I’m interested in any advice - pros or cons...why you’ve done it, why you’ve stayed away from it, etc - you have on team play. Thanks!
