Must you find fault with everything I post Alan? Isn't it bad enough there are people like Blackhole that argue everything I say, just because I say it.
Look what do you want me to say. I play 6-10 sessions a day. I record what I won, or think I won, pocket the chips, or cash if I am cashing out. At the end of the day, if the amount I have doesn't jive with what I started with +/- what I have recorded, then I made a mistake recording. It's not like I magically lost of found extra money. The mistake is in recording results, which I am sometimes doing on the fly. So I adjust results to what I actually have.
It is not as hard as you might think. Maybe I sit down at the table with $200 chips in hand. I start losing and pull out another $100. Then I win a bit and at the end of the second shoe, I get up with $650 in chips. I mistakenly mark down a $450 win, forgetting that I pulled that extra $100 out and the win was only $350. So when I get home I have wins of $450, $900, $1600 and losses of $400, $800 and $1000, thinking I have won $750 for the day. I count up the money and I only have $650 more than I started with. So I record my win for the day at $650, which it actually is.
How else would you suggest I do it Alan? And by the way, like I said, this does not occur very often. But if we are talking thousands of sessions a year, yeah, I record a few results wrong. But they money tells the truth.
