Accountingquestion, if you want to know why the Republican Party wants to make it harder to vote it’s because they are tired of all the dead people, multiple voters and illegal aliens stuffing the balllet box for Democrats. These are three big voting blocks for the Democratic Party. If you think I’m joking search dead people voting in Chicago. This is a big problem there and they almost always vote for Democrats...surprise, surprise. I guess the liberal message resonates with dead people. Lol

The reason the Democrats want to make it easier and easier to vote is so there will be more voter fraud. More voter fraud gives Democrats a better chance of winning. Democrats have a hard time playing by the rules.
It's patronizing to claim that voter registration laws suppress minority votes. Is requiring that information on a voter registration application match a driver’s license, state ID card or Social Security record minority suppression? Is this a real or a straw man argument? Sure there is a minuscule fractional percentage of eligible Americans who don't have a DL, ID card or SS record and didn't vote in the last cycle and suddenly want to and cannot. Okay. I'd be all for using public funds to pick them up, get them properly registered, and take them so they can vote. No problem as long as they're eligible Americans. That seems like more of an elderly issue than a minority one.

It should be easy to vote but HARD to cheat.
I believe that large percentages of miniorities do not vote because of many lifetime gererational familys being on the public dole. They know no other way and it is now and forever an expectation that is taken for granted regardless of the political party victory.

dannyj, don't worry about the elderly voters they always find a way to vote.
