I predict the remote casinos in NV will open first as a testing ground. Those areas will be the easiest to shut down again if things do not go well. So the Wendover area might be one of the first to open. Maybe also the Laughlin area.
I here Wendover gets a lot of patrons from neighboring Utah. That's what I was told by some Utah folks when I was playing at the Reno Peppermill.
Yes, I would say about 50% of their business on weekdays is from Salt Lake City area, the other half is from charter flights. However, on weekends it gets really busy and probably 80% of the folks are from Salt Lake City and the rest from charter flights. They could start up without the charter flights and it would be less crowded. There is no commercial air traffic into Wendover.
