Yes all these things are all nasty but not to the extent this is and those things u mentioned are not entertaining except for twitter which is nowhere near as nasty as this.

This is a place where I think people are highly entertained by the nastiness but there is little to no risk on here for participating in that, whereas in most places in life participating in Nastiness carries a much higher level of personal risk & is generally not entertaining

After last nights shooting ay Walmart in Virginia, I have been watching the discussions on several different news outlets....What I am talking about is some disgruntled, usually young white guy, walking into malls, clubs, schools (far too often schools), walmarts, movie theaters, churches, synagogues, anywhere people gather and just killing people for no other reason than to see how many they can kill.

I was born in the 1980's. Through the first half of my life, you might hear about a murder here and there. Maybe a robbery gone bad, maybe a fight broke out and someone got killed. But you didn't hear about all these shootings at schools, malls, churches, ect. The first shooting of this type I remember was Columbine and I was in high school. Now it happens every week, every day. Never in my years of school, was there an active shooter drill. I just don't get why we, are choosing to go backwards and be less civilized.

I didn't think it possible, but this forum and Gambling forums, over where Rob now posts have just gotten crazier and crazier. They both draw crazy people like flies to shit. I guess it is the 'say anything you want' policies that both have. And these two forums aren't even about gambling. Once in a while someone like mickey tried to post some gambling/AP related stuff. But mostly it is politics and name calling, attacks on one another.

This forum has number of guys picking sports bets, including Dan Druff. His NFL picks very good so far this year, but otherwise all his ports picks are nothing special. A couple guys making hockey picks, one who sometimes is and sometimes isn't even betting money, or is pretend betting, or whatever he called it.

I have a friend that works the pit on the strip, is divorced and alone, so invited him to Thanksgiving dinner with my family. I know he reads some of this forum and asked me again tonight, why I post here. I have an AP friend, pretty big name that I sometimes work with and almost every time I see him, he asks why I post on these forums. Several other AP's that I network with and communicate with privately, ask the same question. I really don't have an answer because as I said at the beginning, these two forums aren't even gambling forums, let alone much to do with AP.

Interview with the Father of Colorado gay club shooter. Seems like a nice man....good role model. Can't imagine where the kid went wrong.

When informed that his son had shot up and killed 5 people in a gay club, the father responds "he is not gay is he?". When informed he is not, the Father says "thank God". The "kid" will spend the rest of his life in prison....only because Colorado does not have the death penalty and the Father (a Mormon or former Mormon) is just relieved he is not gay.

Plenty of blacks killing people before school shootings. In a way, these were school shootings because so many blacks learn life on the street. This is way more than 169 kids dead in 24 years. I think 169 is a pretty good number, and I'll accept up to 5000.
