Correct...the free play is converted to coin-in once it is wagered and cards are dealt.

Not ALL of the free play is converted...only the amount that is wagered.

In this example, the player only wagered 5 of 10 free play dollars.

    Yes. So???

The point is, and jbjb made it clear to me, is that the free play used to make a winning bet in video roulette is returned to the player as cash. That is different from how the free play is treated in video poker. I understand that now.

If you're trying to make another point, I don't understand what it is?

What the heck are you talking about?

The free play in video poker and video roulette are treated the exact same way.

In each case, once the free play is wagered, it is treated as coin-in.

Every time you wager any freeplay on VP, and you win the hand, your original wager is returned to you, plus the win.

Video roulette is exactly the same.

Another crazy and unexpected turn of events! Alan "finally understands", then says something that's entirely wrong.....Rob says he'd do something that he criticizes others for.....ah, I'd expect nothing less.

    I don't think so.

I don't think you get the free play back in video poker after a win.

It does not matter what you "think". It matters what actually happens. You're wrong.

Gosh you're going to have to have jbjb straighten me out then.

Freeplay is converted to coin-in when you bet it...it becomes your wager.

Your wager is returned to you if you win, but not as freeplay...
it's returned as regular credits that you can cash out.

You don't get your freeplay bet back in video roulette, or VBJ either.

Just like VP, the freeplay is converted to coin-in when you bet it,
it becomes your wager, which is returned to you if you win...but it's not returned to you as freeplay.

Whatever...he already admitted that he didn't know what he was talking about.

If he still thinks that video roulette or VBJ return your freeplay bet back as freeplay,
then he still doesn't know what he is talking about.

But I don't that's what he meant, his explanation was poorly worded.

That's not what he said at all. Did you read what he wrote?

I read what he wrote, and your impression of what he wrote is below.

The freeplay used to make a winning bet is returned to the player as cash...in VBJ, video roulette and VP.

I've played video BJ a few times on free play, and what coach says is exactly the way it is. And there is no chance that video roulette is any different.
