Thread: The Adventures of MDawg (in progress)

  1. #1261
Why thank you Axel, that you believe me capable of doing all that. Unfortunately all you did by posting what you just did is show how little you understand about any of this, because if there were a way to do it, the way would not be how you describe. Maybe you should go into the SEO field and offer to do what you just suggested and see if anyone will pay you a nickel for your services after they're done laughing in your face.

But still, with MDawg gone, why is WOV going steadily down the toilet? Do I have the capability to REVERSE traffic too?

I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

I actually think on a good day, Axel might not be such a bad guy.

But what's my word against everyone else's?

It's not surprising the standard of evidence you require is substantially low, and you conciser a few people(in this case one) "everyone else".

Talk about hypocritical, Freddy has been giving up-to-the-minute live WOV live updates while trying to confront everyone on the same form for years while basically talking to himself.

I've been sitting in bed on my computer on live voice chat with multiple other people on many occasion while my wife has come in to the room asking me what I wanted to eat and then bringing it to me sometime later. A simple one, one, and one means one piece of toast, one egg, one piece of bacon and lots of hash browns.(as a matter of fact, she just bring me a piece of Boston cream pie, just before she headed out to the garage for her 2 hour workout)

He can say whatever he wants but whatever he's insinuating, it's just silly. In the last 19 hours I went and played pickleball with friends, went shopping with my wife, resumed construction on a little waterfall where I laid and sculpted about 2 square feet of rock and cement, moved and replanted some herbs, picked up free play at a casino, I played a poker tournament, and profited about $1,400 online. I repaired a laptops plug-in Jack I picked up for $4o that's now worth about $180. Keep trying buddy, eventually you'll come up with something solid.

Do you always try to counter criticism by conceding most everything people have said against you?

Let's start with...if I'm up at 4am it's to place a pre-market trade not to confront someone at a forum.

Depending on what I'm doing, I normally sleep about 6 hours a day split up 2 to 4 hours at a time, I have no set schedule, it's always changing. I could just be waking up at 4 a.m. or I could just be turning in at 4 a.m. If I can recall correctly, I didn't head out of my house to the casinos until after 9 p.m. I set up flood lights made out of cracked flat screen TVs outside so I can do stuff out there at night when it's super hot during the day. I can't recall exactly what time it was when I got in the house. At 4 a.m. I was playing poker online, surfing the web and winding down getting ready for another 3 hours of sleep.

If the value of your stock portfolio dating from the highs of Feburary isn't worth at least as much, if not more, today...something's wrong!

My portfolios are worth actually quite a bit more today than in February, albeit partly due to trading, but mostly due to the value of my long terms rebounding so nicely. There is still some room to go on some of my long term stocks though to recapture their exact February highs.

The American stock market, if anything, remains quite durable!

You're not giving any credit to the +$6 trillion injection looking for a home?

How many pounds of beef will your portfolio buy today compared to February?

To be clear I'm not discounting the resiliency of the market. I'm just trying to get the whole picture. Many countries in the midst of economic collapse experience exceptional stock market gains.

Well, the argument that our economy is actually very bad, and is being bolstered by Disneyland dollars, has been kicked around for years now - and might even be true, but for whatever reason people keep buying stocks! (And real estate, and about anything else of investment value they may get their hands on.)

I wasn't aware I was supposed to try to increase traffic at any forum. That is not my goal or reason for participating anywhere. Anyone obsessed with that as you seem to be, has some sort of ego issue it would seem to me. BUT, I thought that before you made this statement.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

Agreed....What else are people going to do with them?

But you really didn't answer my question. Do you feel like you are truly winning or just treading water during the last few years of exceptional results? When I measure the results it seems like a nominal win at best. But that's just my opinion.

Having gotten very heavily into the market in 2006 -2007, been cut in half around 2008-2009, and sold nothing (if anything, just bought more and more ever since), I can't think in terms of just the past few years.

If you mean, that I've benefitted from the bull run of the past 11 years, still, also, I held through the collapse of 2008.

So if you think about it along those lines, it's more a testament to the U.S. economy in general, than any particular short term run, that has made money for me and anyone else who has held long term in the market.

We got a little sell off going on. The highs of yesterday's close were really something, especially for the Nasdaq stocks.

AMZN already jumped though...it was 2580s in the pre- (as low as 2575), now back over 2600 again, if it can hold.

The market is overreacting in both directions daily. For being supposed educated and intelligent people, they rely on emotion too often.

  15. #1275
Well, the entire market is based on emotion. Multiply the emotions of people a million or so fold and that is what drives the market.

Lot of buyers out there though. If we're going to go way down, today doesn't look like the day. Typically letting go of a run takes more than one day of bad sentiment.

    Wow AMZN is green now.

That's a very durable stock...it gets both the stay at home sentiment, and the economy re-opening sentiment.

I'll tell you one trade I missed...I had a buy for extra shares of AMZN at 2575, but when I got busy trading other stocks I cancelled it. Generally not a good idea to leave an order open when trading other stocks. Next thing you know I saw AMZN plummet to 2570. I scrambled to enter the buy but by the time I could even enter the trade it had already popped to 2589, and then shot almost straight to 2610.

For those of us with long term holds...which is basically, all of us! today was not fun. No amount of trading I did today made up for the long term hold plummet.

Then again, looking at it philosophically, we were so sky high yesterday that a drop today still doesn't take us below the highs of February.

And futures are bright green at the moment, so tomorrow should be much better than today let's hope.
