Best way is to insult, flame and belittle as many forum members as possible; extra points for the use of rare expletives and of course flowery language is always well received.

Hopefully you'll up your game; I see true potential in you, and with Rob Singer announcing he's done posting here we'll soon need to find some new blood to keep us all on our heels yet full of spit and vinegar.

    Try insulting Tasha: she's easy.

Someone tackle me as I am out of control.
I just spent another 1800 dollars on Stupid Toys!
I bought 7 of the 10 dollar cheaper, less powerful batteries since the 3200 is out of stock.
Actually these batteries have plenty of power and you save some money.
My wife is not happy that I spent almost 5 grand on RC Airplanes and Accessories... AGAIN!

Tell her it's cheaper than a mistress or a divorce.

Funny about our hobbies; I am guessing that you liked RC's as a youth, then renewed your interest much later in life.

That is what happened with me and Dinky Toys: I liked them as a kid and a few years ago started buying them wherever I could: my collection is over 150 now, all in nice shape.

One thing I don't understand is how toy collectors put a premium on a box; me, I take them out of their box and display / play with them with my grandson; my buddy collects Funko Pops, he's like a hoarder of them, and all are untouched, still in their box.

Seems to me to be the same as having a beautiful girl friend that you never ride hard and put away wet; what's the point of not having a hands-on experience?

Divorce would cost us Zero... she can have it all.
I would never show up to divorce proceedings.

I never was into anything RC.
What kid could afford this so called Hobby?
Even if you build everything from scratch and or rebuild it, it is still a very expensive game.
Basketballs, Baseball Equipment and Footballs are much, much cheaper.
RC Airplanes are for adults with extra money to burn.
And I'm buying the cheapest option.
The serious people in this hobby have airplanes that cost 10k or more.
And they probably built them from the ground up.

I do have a love for airplanes.
    Particularly Warbirds.
I flew a bunch of Sims or Fighter Plane games back in the 90s when they were very popular online.

Anyways, RC Boats or Vehicles seem boring when compared.
Flying these Warbirds that can go up to 100mph is another story.
Dangerous and Crazy in the palms of my hands.
And if this stuff wasn't Bind and Fly, meaning that it is basically ready to fly out of the box, I wouldn't even bother.
It's fun but I'm not spending weeks or any time at all having to actually build, wire, paint or anything like that.
I absolutely hate the idea that I have to program the radio controller.
That takes a good hour or two depending but at least you only have to do it once per model.
So, basically I just keep buying the same exact model till it gets discontinued.
The T-28 is by far the better value compared to the Mustang because it is by far easier to assemble.
They both cost the same but the Mustang has about 10 extra steps which is not worth it IMO.

This is something that would work if I wouldn't of bought so many so aggressively.
I've used this ploy before on other items but she knows when the FedEx man delivers 5 boxes that its not from the Casino lol.
I like the way you think though.
    Thanks for the suggestion.
I lost 20 grand the other night and she didn't blink.
I spend some money on bowling balls, pool cues and RC Airplanes and she hits the ceiling!
She doesn't like the RC Airplanes because I crash them so fast and its basically flushing money down the toilet.
Now that I have over 20 Lipo Batteries the real concern is that I don't burn the house down.
Don't tell her that though, she doesn't know that about this so called hobby.
Literally Nuclear Bombs inside your house lol.
I guess I just need another Gun Safe to store them inside of.

I find it weird that she knows the loss amount. I don't even tell my wife how much cash is on hand or anything. She doesn't ask either. I might if she asked. The downfall of that is no one has a clue how much to look for in the end.....RIP

Ok you caught me stretching a bit here.
The point was that I lost a larger amount of money compared to what I spend on certain items.
    And she reacts differently.
But good catch... she really doesn't have a clue on what is or isn't going on.
She's set for life so it really doesn't matter but still very nice catch MaxPen... very nice.

Maxie doesn't tell his husband that he boosted the shit out of a department store that day.

Go find a water fountain somewhere and take a shower. You're stinking up the place.

I was surprised to see $750 attached to a major on a $3.75 bet but I didn't get the major and had no idea such big values can be thrown out there.

I will no longer be playing corner maxis and any majors. Where I have them available, no chance in hell.

  15. #175
Most plays on the game are obvious. Most of the competition for these is regular gamblers who easily recognize and often overestimate the potential of the game.

There's a thread over at WOV called Vulturing Deterrent. There's some talk about having to put money in Cashman Bingo's to check them.

There's a pad down on the console showing how many squares are covered on each bet level. But that doesn't mean you check only when you see a card mostly filled in. Occasionally, when the bingo is hit and the game resets it will throw out a maxi or major. So there will only be two squares showing as filled in.

I've picked up a lot of majors just by checking every bet level no matter if only two squares are filled in.

But there is another feature to the game. Every so often the screen will rotate thru the bet levels 1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, showing what's on the cards. On some banks it happens every minute. So you get a look without having to go thru the motions of putting money in the machine.

Another thing that is great about this feature is if someone is playing one or two of the machines on the bank you don't have to stick money in the machines beside them then punch up the bet levels. You just wait for the screen to start cycling thru the bet levels to get a look.

Some places do have these bingo games set to where you do have to insert cash in and manually check each board. It's rare though.

But yeah, the ones where you do need to do this, usually a 1 cent TITO will do the job. Buffalo Link is a prime example.

  18. #178
I noticed on some machines, all that is required is a TITO that has enough value on it to cover the denomination. So, for example, to check all five betting levels of the 5c denom on an Ocean Song, all that is required is a 5 cent or higher value TITO or to check all betting levels on the 10c denom of a Zorro, just stick in a 10c or higher TITO, etc. . Other machines require that the voucher cover the cost of the spin. So categorically we have:
    1. No voucher needed to check the machine
    2. 1 cent or higher TITO value to check the machine (Buffalo Link for example as mentioned above)
    3. Voucher must have enough value to cover the denomination (Zorro, etc.)
    4. Voucher must have enough value to cover the cost of a spin

Mickey (or anyone else), have you played the Double Bingo yet? What do you think of it? Feels like you have to play it tighter than the regular bingo since half the coins you get will go to the board you're not chasing unless you get lucky and both boards are good on their own.

Yeah, I've played it some. Not enough to be an expert on it. You can strike out by not hitting the right bingo so I look for a lot of money on the boards compared to the bet level. So when I do hit I get a nice payoff.
