I completely understand. Those guys at WoV and the Wiz himself like to call people like us Credit Trolls. I do not expect that from someone who preaches all that morality over there. Anyways, when I see a blinking light or a ticket on the machine you better believe I'm taking it as I pull out my bankroll to play some game. I have only had one problem in 96 when at the Flamingo they set us guys up with the blinking light right beside the security desk. Of course I was in my early twenties so what the F did I know. No big deal... they take your ID and say your not allowed here. I think it lasts for 6 months but I was back in a few days with never another problem.Originally Posted by mickeycrimm

This place was amazing before the owner got mad and threw all the APs out years ago. They tried to take all their free play away but got refuted on that so what did they do? They decided to cap the FP at a small amount per day so these guys that had thousands in FP had to come in every day for months to get it off. I never got too greedy or thrown out so I was still playing years later and they had good double royal promotions and other things going on. Later down the road the owner sold it to some corporate entity who now has a hold of it and things have changed. They used to have this game I would play over there that was 9/6 BnsPkrDlx at the quarter level. It was Multi Strike and after the place was sold and I lost 6500 one night I came back a few days later. Well the pink sign was changed to a brand new black one and that game was downgraded. I joke all the time that I bought them that new sign.
Anyways mail used to be really good over here and if you let your play fall off for 6 months they would send you a huge offer for the summer months without even putting any coin in. That seemed to have stopped though and the mail in general was getting worse and worse. I gave up on the place a year or so ago give or take a few months. The last time I was over there playing on a drawing/point day I had this guy sitting next to me playing pretty decent denomination and he was constantly pulling the card every flop or every other flop. I said something like you might want to cool it. I mean I understand and all but geesh your being really aggressive, perhaps too aggressive. He was decent about it and took it in stride. We talked a little bit and he said that this is how you get the max mailers!! I said I know but these places are getting hipper to this and you might only want to pull the card on big hands. Anyways, I get it but goodness showing a 50% or greater loss all the time he he that's rich. I suppose he has a point though since it is computer generated for the most part.
I am sure they still have things that you can play and get some mail going over there. They like to send Free Bets for BJ as well and the food is decent to me so there is that. The last time I was in the pit I had the boss try to coax me into playing after my 50 dollar match play and I was like no... no thank you. He got all uppity saying that he didn't understand why they mail us guys these offers since we never play anything but the Match Play. Of course I had to stick the needle in him a bit. I told him it is very simple. Players like me play hundreds of thousands of dollars over there on those machines and some months we are losing tens of thousands to your fine establishment here and as a courtesy your marketing department likes to give us a few match plays to say thanks for your business and maybe some of you will fall into the pit for longer periods of time. However some of us, like myself do not enjoy playing in the Pit and I prefer the solitude of those machines over there.
