Everyone I know or myself always uses a strong gumband and doubles it over the bills up to 10k.
My friend used to use those really fat, large rubberbands at times but I hate those.

On 50k Bricks I usually leave them straight in the wrappers and wrap a gumband on each end.

I don't keep much cash in wrappers. They're not durable. That was the cleanest looking stuff I could grab offhand. I used it as an example as to what pristine money really looks like.
