I thought Billy Walters was a big bettor; looks like he's been eclipsed by the joker.
What, Me Worry?
Argentino is so uneducated here, it's ridiculous. The whales in US race betting have survived via rebates for more than the last 15 years. Bettors like Billy Walters, Mayweather, and others have undoubtedly contracted for rebates, only we never hear or read about them, and we won't. I know for a fact that large syndicates in Las Vegas, at the least, pay significantly reduced juice.
I don't know why Argentino has an issue with reality here. One of my problems with Dancer is that Dancer probably has negotiated rebates with various casinos that go unreported. By not reporting these outright, Dancer hypes the illusion that what he does can be duplicated by any poor schmuck, which is not the case.
Now how did I know some simpleton would say something as dumb as that....
Universal remotes don't operate everything I use perfectly, and I opt for individual components with my electronics anyway. For example, In the family room room I run a power amp with a separate pre-amp and separate tuner, and I use a separate amp for the subwoofer with Bose 901's--something few people would do.
I just realized I'm explaining things to a bunch of idiots who have neither the background or the money to know or experience what goes into being an audiophile. In essence, the little people again. Some high school dropouts, and very few with any college to speak of.

Ah, hubris.
I'm an audiophile.
It is the general consensus of audiophiles, based on what I've read, and also my personal opinion based on what I have heard, that Bose 901 "direct reflecting speakers" are NOT considered truly high end products, and certainly not representative of the "ne plus ultra" at their price point.
Like all Bose equipment it is over-priced and the sound quality can be readily eclipsed by the products of other, usually much smaller manufacturers.
But hey, if you like them, great.
What other components comprise your system?
What, Me Worry?
I like Bose products and always have since I took the tour at the Bose factory in Framingham, Mass. years ago. They're not the absolute best of course, but they put out a powerful and clean sound. I drive mine here with an old Bose 1000w power amp. A real beast. My pre-amp is Phillips, the tuner is a Mac, and there's a Nakamichi cassette player, a Thorens turntable with a Sumiko cartridge, a Sony CD player, and even a Pioneer 8-track connected thru it.
I use Bose noise cancelling headphones.

I believe it would be proper to say his system comprises the following components:
But bill is correct that components don't comprise the system.
That being said, "what other components comprise your system" does sound better.
I am completely lost when it comes to electronics and have to have a nephew install everything and dummy down the operation for me. I did one smart thing however and had all of the wiring and cabling installed in the walls.
I have three separate stereo systems and a dedicated home theater.
The main system, in the listening room, consists of:
Conrad Johnson Evo 2000 amp, Audio Research LS2 preamp, Krell SACD player, Aerial Acoustics 10T speakers with good cabling throughout, Chang Lightspeed power conditioner, with dedicated power and ground circuits.
Sounds amazing.
What, Me Worry?
Shit all sounds the same to me. I couldn't tell the difference between a $200 or $20k sound system. If I really give a fuck I will just buy a ticket to a high end movie theater.
I live ten miles from the headquarters of BOSE in Framingham, MA. The audiophiles call BOSE, "Better Off Something Else". Sorry, just commenting on a very local nerve. Personally, I am too old to have knowledge and perception of the best systems. I just love the acronym.
Not really sure what work you are trying to save him. Your background check only reveals that you have skipped rent judgements. Shows no real property owned. We have no doubt that the place there is your latest Cousin Eddie parking spot, to mooch some internet. Have fun until they give you some gas money and kick you along down the road.

My grade-13 music teacher was an early member of the group "Ocean", http://www.canadianbands.com/Ocean.html , before they went onto their limited fame. A bass player, if I recall, but he played many instruments. Around the time that many of the music recording means and systems were coming out. He preferred reel-to-reel, something analog, precisely to hear also a song's imperfections and wavering. I recall him slumped over one, one day so long ago, in the music room, and, telling me about it being the best. https://hometheaterhifi.com/editoria...rs-resurgence/
I think that you'll find many of the older video technicians still say that the cathode ray tube television is best. But those, too, became too cheaply and mass produced, so they had to build more expensive contraptions to move the economy ahead.

All the nonsense aside, just as a muscle car enthusiast knows they will always come upon a better, faster car on the road, audiophiles know there are better components out there that they either don't purchase because their ears/brain can't distinguish a meaningful difference between them, or they can't afford them.
I was impressed at The Mountain at how the engineers did not singularly tout the Bose equipment, but explained their uniqueness and urged us to remember our listening experiences there as we compared other equipment in other listening rooms.
Yes Bose has overpriced stuff but it is underpriced compared to many other units. To me, what I have here is as good a sound as I've ever heard....to me. And that's how you buy. And I have 5 of the Bose Wave radios between here and in SD. I have never found a better sounding table top radio for the price, although many believe they're overpriced.
Maxpen, there must have been some sort of clerical error at the court records office - Rob wrote that he bought that property for his daughter. Rob, you might want to call the records office in Peoria and have them correct the error since they have you recorded as having no real property.
