Thread: Cache Creek Casino Resort

Cache Creek Casino is located in Brooks California, an hour and half drive from the San Francisco Bay Area. It has great blackjack ranging from one to six decks with the dealer standing on soft 17 and 3:2 blackjack payouts at all tables. The video poker is also very good with 9/6 Double Double Bonus. Here is a video of a day trip there with my wife we took this week.

Looks like a great place for casino action in northern region of California for those not wanting to go further out to Vegas. I happen to watch a lot of Angels baseball games on TV and every time they are playing at O.co Colosseum, I see the Cache Creek casino ad. They must be a sponsor to the team. Pechanga is one of the major sponsors for the Angels.

Saw the 4 Aces with a Kicker video from you in the past. Excellent high end video poker there, also having 9/6 DDB at 50 cents is a perk for low rollers.

When I was looking at this site using my cell phone I could not see the video. I can see it on my desktop. Thanks for posting.

How is their craps game played?

Here is the YouTube link for those who can't view the Cache Creek Casino Resort video

Maybe Dan can fix the video option so the video shows-up on a smartphone as it does on a desktop. The dice on the craps game determines the cards to be dealt for the "roll". I couldn't stay long enough at the craps table since the stickman was giving me heat for filming the video to give you specifics.

Dan if you read this please also check the link for adding a video. It hasn't worked for me. That's the video icon in the reply window.

About the craps game: do the dice select two cards out of 12 that are on the table?

Went to Cache Creek Casino this week and discovered they no longer pay 9/6 (9 = Full House & 6 = Flush) at 50 cent Double Double Bonus video poker. It is now 9/5 while $1 machines still pay 9/6. Maybe the slot manager decided not to provide decent payouts at lower amounts.

Here is another jackpot I had at 50 cent Five Play DDB a few months ago where I flopped 4 aces and here is the result...

Sorry to hear about the downgrade JSTAT. Most casinos in the state will only provide the full pay 9/6 starting for dollars. The downgrade at 50 cents you can play twice as long but theoretically lose the same amount if you played 9/6 for dollars for half the amount of play. The variance is high so the results are more mixed.

If you could learn how to play Deuces Wild, Cache Creek seems to have a good pay schedule.

Good hit on the multi-hand game! Some 2, 3, 4 kickers on the draw to go with that flop would have been nicer, but I will take quad aces any time.
