Ok now that we got that settled, I am curious to know what rob singer thinks about me lying to the casino about the food comps.Rob, would you have done it? Other members are welcome to chime in.

I wouldn't do it. It's not even the same as accepting two simultaneous offers from two casinos for hotel stays with free play attached. You admittedly lied and cheated.
At least with the two simultaneous offers, while accepting them both might hurt future offers, there was no lie or cheat involved: they were both offered by two casinos.
In your case you were offered one food comp. You lied so that you could get two food comps, one of which you converted to free play.
It wasn't an accident either, like when a dealer leaves your hard-6 bet up on the layout and later pays you for it.
What Jean did/does is a white trash move. No self-respect involved whatsoever.
What Dancer did/does is the same as bolting out of a restaurant to escape the bill. It's illegal.
This food comp thing is no different than any gambler taking full advantage of whatever comes along, just as the casinos use on their customers in many different ways. This takes ingenuity and it is not illegal.
Wouldn't expect anything else from Little Man who HAS filed bankruptcy... Who HAS stiff MANY people in Vegas for $1,000's of dollars....
This gutless prick types insults about people's Mom's,kids, wife's from behind a keyboard.... That should tell everyone just who he is..... A deadbeat
I am curious what Dan thinks about it, I know he screws casinos out of comps, and I think double dipping on food comps is no different from taking towels from the room or playing on someone else's card to get them to seven stars. I agree with rob, casinos are always looking for ways to take our money, by lowering pay tables, cutting back on benefits etc, why can't we repay them in kind
Dan manipulates the system and takes pride in doing so. Double-dipping a coupon is no different.
It's not that you double dipped -- it's that you openly and overtly lied.
I've taken towels. I've played on someone else's card to get them points. But I never lied to do it. I didn't walk up to a rewards desk and said something false to cheat the casino.
Taking towels is stealing, playing on others card is cheating the casino. So you think, LYING and cheating the casino is different from NOT SAYING ANYTHING and cheating the casino.
Taking towels is stealing. I'm guilty. Playing on another's card is cheating the casino. I'm guilty again. But I didn't lie.
This is an enjoyable thread. A bunch of gambling addicts arguing over double dipping a coupon and stealing hotel towels!
Oh what fun!!
Twice a month and yes at the same casino, which shall go nameless, but I can tell you, the name is associated with a roman king
Wheres Chainsaw Kessler when we need him?? Hes the king of food comps
I think that I'm pretty bad when it comes to this stuff, but I wouldn't overtly lie about not receiving mail to acquire a food comp or free play. On the other hand, if a casino sent me two by mistake, would I try to use them? Yes, I would. If they sent me three? Yes, I would. If they sent me 20? Yes, I would.
I'm not sure there's a big difference between the scenarios, so I'm not sure what to make of my moral compass.
By the way, the MGM factors into its pricing the fact they lose 50K towels a year. So Alan, don't feel bad.
