Marathons are for fools. They serve zero purpose in overall body health and strength other than to make you capable of running away from a tougher guy because you don't know how to and can't defend yourself.

Yes I am very old to the 30 & 40-something's here, but at 69 and because I was trained by pros in my 20's and I've always kept in near perfect shape for my age, I wouldn't bet against me. Plus there's the tidbit that everyone's seen me and know I'm no fatass, while the only others here that anyone's seen verified pictures of are Alan and Dan. For all we know kew could be a 90 pound Chinese woman with a whole lot of lack of self-confidence but sporting a great big mouth. Problem is, all you anonymous folks are cowards, which in turn explains all the armchair gambling chatter you people talk a big game about.

I am not a regular marathon runner. I have started a total of 3 marathons and finish 2 of them. Both involved challenges from my brother, one that I could finish (I did), the second one was a challenge against him. I finished, he didn't. He says he is going to run again this year (nov), but I see no evidence that he is preparing.

A marathon is actually too far for my liking. As a recreational runner, I enjoy 3-5 miles. Clears you head and gives you time to think. If I can find a nice scenic trail that is even better. Because I only run 3-5 mile, stretching out to 8-10 about 4 weeks before a marathon and then tapering way down the final two weeks, I always hit that wall in a marathon. Most people do actually. It occurs somewhere in the second half, usually miles 18-20. Your body hurts all over. You think you can't go on, or don't want to go on. But if you keep pushing which is difficult you break through that wall, get a second wind. It is a real "high". And even if you are sore and tired that last couple miles feels great....it really does. That good kind of hurt.

I couldn't care less what that collection of libtards discuss but I looked because of his concern. It seems this BBB had just banned the poster because she matched up a word I used 5 years ago there with a word this new poster used. I think it was bingo or joker. Something is not right here Dan.

When Alan's son made his initial post late Saturday night /early Sunday Morning, several people including redietz, quoted the entire post and all the claims about Alan not meeting his financial responsibilities and being a gambling addict, broke most of the month, but always gone to the casino in the beginning of the month when his checks come in. I noticed this because I thought "great there will be a record if Jason's post somehow 'disappears'".

So guess what the flowing day Jason's post does infact "disappear", deleted by him. AND the posts that quoted Jason's post have been altered. They no longer contain the quote of Jason's post, just the person's (redietz and whoever else it was) response. Redietz says he didn't delete the part of his post that had the quote.....so where is it Dan?

I did not modify anyone's posts quoting Jason's posts (or Alan's, for that matter).

I realized that people could quote them for posterity, but that was the risk they took by posting these publicly.

FWIW, I saw that thread shortly after posts were “deleted” by slapingunk and I noticed few posts from others with quotes from his posts. I took that to mean few people quoted him and I still kinda lean that way, since it seems Druff isn’t super active here and going to start editing or deleting stuff at odd hours randomly.

The Ogden House was right behind the El Cortez on Ogden Street. Owned by Jackie Gaughan. Stayed there many times from early nineties to early 2000's. 20 bucks a night. Jackie also owned the Ambassador East and Western Casino. You had to have out of state ID to stay in any of those hotels. And he had a long ass 86 list.
