It's really a moot point if it was 18, 19 or 20.

I was barely old enough to gamble myself at that time, he was a friend, he was interested, he needed some money and wanted to work, so I offered the opportunity.

No doubt, it kept him from doing some stupid much worse shit to make some money. I knew what a couple of his other sketchy acquaintances did to make money and he was considering those options.

Oh, I've also taken quite a few chicks to gamble with me who were not 21 as well I can think of 10 off the top of my head. What is it that they say, I was young dumb, and full of cum? Hell, I still don't think it was dumb. Knowing what I know now, and if I could go back to age 22, or 23 I do nothing but hire 18 and 19-year-old girls to work for me, and I would have hired a lot more for multiple reasons. There's a low chance of them turning into your competition, and if they did you could easily take them out of the game since they're not even 21. She never got busted for the fake ID. At some point during our time together her sister turned 21 and she started using her sister's ID.

However, there was A double Royal promotion at the Barbary Coast. They Had some good machines, even a $5 9/6 multi-play, but mostly dollar multiplay $1 denominations. I'm not even going to think about the hph and math, it was worth hundreds of dollars per hour.

Anyways, we needed to slow play and lock the machines up many hours prior to the promotion or there would be zero chance you would get a seat. You don't want to be doing that yourself if possible since you really need to sleep as long as possible up until about an hour before the promotion starts so you can get as many quality hours in as possible. You might be there for 24-plus hours straight.

She heard me making calls and talking to a few friends offering to pay them to lock up the machines for me.

When she heard how much we were paying, she was like... "why don't you let me do that?" I was like yeah, good point, why not? My next-door neighbor was actually a slot tech and he was game(I actually bought a 70's 280Z from him). Had a few others helping as well.

I think it was fairly close to promotion time when everyone who was holding machines got surrounded by management/ Security and 86ed. I think a hustler who wanted the machines narced them out. The Casino never bothered anyone else after that, and we were able to play the promotion unmolested for the duration.

Angel was furious at the casino for trespassing her. "how can they do that, I was playing, and I wasn't doing anything wrong?" And I said, to be fair, you're not even 21. And then she replied, yeah but, they don't know that.
