Mickey conveniently neglects the somewhat important statistic that, relative to other countries, the U.S. is doing worse. That does seem to be slightly important. In fact, mickey conveniently neglects any statistics altogether. So yes, lockdowns do not necessarily prevent second waves. They just lead to fewer infections, fewer deaths, lower per capita case rates, lower per capita death rates. You know, numbers. Mickey, being a math guy, somehow skipped the math.
The poor thing is that mickey knows all this. He just chooses to not share it.
Meanwhile, regarding the nonsense stat and garbage tweet mickey defended a couple of weeks ago about U.S. deaths being lower than in years past. Mickey just likes to make stuff up these days. It's sad. Makes you wonder about double up bugs and his personal alleged history and all that:

Election's in a few days. If you haven't educated yourself on coronavirus by this point, it's pretty much on you. As one of the original long time posters here, I felt obligated to counter the anti-science junk on this forum. My responsibilities here are finished. You either get it or you don't. You can follow me via my blog in the months and years ahead.

My personal estimate is that the "second wave" starts this week. It's going to be a rough ride.
Good luck, VCT.
