Some of the places dealt shoes face up GSR and Silver Legacy. BTW, SL is a good spot for you if you're ever in the area. But only on weekends. I was straining like hell to see and only two players were playing just the one table. I stood at the adjacent empty table and pretended I watching/getting scores on the TV above. Others went face down. But I was still one fat ass away from a 1/2 a table going blank no matter where I sat. In most places, it was too far for me to see anything. In Pmill, 8s looked like 6s vice versa from a distance.

So if Wong and 2nd table are only a small part of your game. What do you do the rest of the time? Play all the way through a shoe or start a shoe and exit at a certain negative point? I can see how you could do that in Vegas and probably get in one helluva workout in a day. But how is the guy doing it in Bumfuck Iowa?

No, I don't play reno very often moses. I find Reno to be pretty sweaty (in general) involving green and black action. Others that I network with find it playable. I just have better options. Occasionally a trip takes me in that direction and I spend 2-3 days. that's about it.

As for the rest of my game, I don't play through negative shoes. I have exit triggers, and one is that I aggressively exit negative counts. Anything more than a TC -1 and I am out. I am not sitting there playing that. I have better options. There is another game starting nearby. Best case scenario the next table and I already have some knowledge of the count.

As for the guy in Bumfuck Iowa. I am not all that knowledgeable about blackjack in other countries. And to me any place outside Vegas and a few other locations that make up my rotation is another country.

Seriously, I don't know what other players in other places do. I would hope they tailor a game plan and plan of attack for their situations. That's what I did. When I lost my rotation in Atlantic City and decided to relocate to Vegas, I tailored a plan of attack for Vegas. Vegas strength is many, many games in close proximity. That means a new game starting somewhere nearby. The next table, the next casino, a casino a couple miles away. So why do I want to play through negative counts?

Short sessions are not really the "sexy" way to play blackjack. My late partner hated it. But it is a pretty significant winning strategy. If you don't play through all those negative counts, just to get to the good counts, then you can play with a smaller spread, and do some things like "spread both ways" to increase longevity. Win/win.

But I specifically moved to Vegas and designed a style of play beneficial to Vegas. I just don't know what to tell the guy playing in BumFuck Iowa. If he has thoughts of playing professionally, he may need to reconsider where he lives, or at the very least be willing to travel and incur more expense.

Tommy Hyland, 45 year professional player and manager of one of the most successful, if not THE most successful blackjack teams in the world. Much more successful than MIT teams combined. Tommy is also a member of the BJHOF.

Blackjack community member that goes by handle of "bigplayer". Bigplayer s a professional player, has been a member of Hylands team for decades and is also a BJHOF member.

I didn't even know that all these successful known players also tracked multiple tables when I started doing so. I learned after the discussions here. Munchkin I sort of did know. I remember him mentioning it quite some time ago. Did that influence me? Maybe. Probably. Munchkin like other on this list and others not on this list have had quite an influence on my career.

So now Singer will say something retarded like none of these people have proven anything, which is completely untrue. BJHOF members are strongly vetted and have proven beyond any doubt (except by those who refuse to believe anything...conspiracy guys like Singer)their credentials and success. And most of these are BJHOF players.

So moses doesn't believe tracking a second table is possible and aligns himself with Singer. That is fine. Not trying to discredit moses, but he IS THE ANOMOLY here. Moses has access to, plays maybe even specializes in single deck blackjack in Reno. Tracking a second table is NOT a single deck game technique. It is a multi-deck game technique designed to get out of some of the negative counts and replace them with more favorable counts and situations. With single deck, you just play through a round or two negative counts and you will have a new shuffle. No need to track a second game and go table hopping.
