And I did just that. I had both Chicago and New Orleans minus the points. But I only bet $20 or so per game so no big deal.

Last night Oklahoma scored 59 points and didn't cover the 3.5 points. I didn't bet the game but the over was 87.5. They had scored 94 points by the end of the 3rd quarter. Very entertaining game. All offense and no defense.

OK’s Defense is why the committee doesn’t take them seriously to get into the playoffs. Even if/when they win the Big 12 Championship they will be left looking in unless something crazy happens.

I've seen track meets with less running. OU vs UCF. Over/Under 318.

I also guess you should have gone to college monet. That post makes little to no sense.

    However....thanks for your interest.

Post made alot of sense. Pretty much demonstrated an example of psychological projection to a tee.
You betting $1200 per game next week? I don't know how much longer you can outrun the title loan joint coming for your man closet on wheels.

Rob, what do you think about redietz' 87-70 record in the Northbet contest where you don't get to choose the teams. You are forced to pick a side on 12 certain games per week. Pretty good record for that isn't it? That's like 55.4% winners which is good enough to make a healthy profit. I think he finished 12th or something like that. How many were in it, hundreds?

Maybe you can get in the Northbet contest next year.

No idea what that is mickey. I have no desire to play in tournaments of any kind. Tournaments are for chumps. I'll finish higher than 60% by season's end anyway.

If you were trustworthy, almost every poster on here would bet you that wont be at 60% by the end of the year. Your martingale garbage aside, you can’t pick enough winners.

Once again you opened your mouth knowing you can’t hit 60%, but will come up with some excuse when you don’t.

And Parlays are for chumps too.

Interesting use of the word "tournament." Nobody refers to sports handicapping contests as "tournaments." Most sports handicapping contests are season-long. Horse race contest players do refer to their one-weekend contests as "tournaments," however. The jargon difference seems to be that a short-term contest can be called a "tournament," while a season-long contest is not called a "tournament." Just trying to get the usage jargon clear for general readers. You know, some people get short-term and long-term concepts confused.

As to my being a "chump." LOL. I have not posted a single negative remark regarding Argentino's sports handicapping. In fact, I have generally tried to be helpful. Go back and read my posts.

Now, Boz, we don't know that Argentino can't pick 60%. Perhaps he'll go on a tear. He's just five games under the pace needed to hit 60% for the season. I suggest we just sit back and root for him to do his best.

Personally, I'm going to go jog this morning, even though it's cold and there are 30-mph winds. If Argentino shows up in Las Vegas to conduct our mutual interview Dec 15-20, maybe he and I can go on that 5K we were discussing last year when he wanted to race kewlJ. I could use a jogging partner.

    Kumbaya, my Lord, Kumbaya.

Rob did hit his lock of the week. Never bet bad teams. Never give more than 4 points. That being said, where would your record stand?

You'll finish higher than 60%? Really? Damn, that will be some great handicapping. Well, to start with, you fudged and added one more game. So you are 10-10-1. Now, here's where the rubber hits the road, er, I should say, gambling math takes over. That's something you don't know anything about, numnuts or you wouldn't have made the 60% prediction.

There's five weeks left in the season. That's 25 additional picks you will make. That would be a total of 46 picks. And 60% of 46 is 28 rounded. Since you have just 10 wins right now, in order to get to 60% for the season you will have to pick 18 winners out of your next 25 picks.

Are you going to fudge and say the playoffs are included too?

Piece of cake, right Robocchio? Everyone knows math is no good, right? You throw it out the door with video poker so you may as well do the same with sports handicapping. Alternative reality is the way to go. Keep believing, sucker.

It is for NFL bettors, and there's no law that says you can't take 12 or 15 games a week. Plus totals. Although you may have to re-title the thread.

Outside of extraordinary circumstances I'm betting five. If I were doing this for any reason other than what I stated earlier then I'd bet all or most games each week, and for $500/game from the start. If I'm behind in a few weeks I'll very likely win it all back and more when we leave for Lake Tahoe the day before Christmas anyway.
