Thread: Welcome to 1980: Horseshoe (former Bally's and MGM Grand) was on fire on Friday

It was on the 19th floor. Unlike in 1980, there are sprinklers now, so it put out the fire before it got too bad.

You could see smoke from the strip, though. See article above for video.

The hotel was called MGM Grand in 1980, and had a major fire which killed 85 people. That fire changed the hotel fire safety practices worldwide.

    Update: https://www.reviewjournal.com/crime/...other-2771000/

Arson. A man and woman were both setting fires around Vegas, and now they're blaming each other. This includes the aforementioned Horseshoe fire.

The man is only 21, and the woman is 40. Her name is Amber Crow, his name is Daniel Rodriguez. They both look methy:

They were arrested after attempting to set a bush on fire outside of Caesars last week.

Daniel claimed that Amber set the fires after they argued. Amber said that Daniel burned her belongings when he was mad at her. It is likely bullshit on both ends.

The lady looks exactly like a Rolex thief.

Unlike arson at least the Rolex thefts are victimless if you don’t count the saps that take these women up to their rooms as victims.

Anyone with a Rolex will probably pass on this woman. She seems a little too much bargain basement. IMO

I gotta think there are more swinging dicks wandering sin city festooned with fake Rolexes than there are with real ones.

In addition to the no sprinkler problem back in 1980, wasn't a second issue that fire trucks didn't have ladders that could reach to the 19th floor? I wonder if that issue has been resolved over the 40 years?

Wise is knowing a Tomato doesn't belong in a fruit salad.

I’m guessing you haven’t seen the previous posts over the last year or so about the women stealing Rolexes by hiding them in their vaginas? They weren’t particularly lookers either

Maybe the Navy can go to the same place the city of SF is hiring their drag laureate from.

Somebody told me about SF’s drag laureate program and I thought, no, they gotta be fu&*king with me,

But looked it up and sure enough it is real.

Keystone just filled San Francisco's Drag Laureate position - Golden Gate fields is just across the bridge, so he can go there on his lunch hour.
