Thanks SplitFace, glad you enjoy and hopefully found those posts useful, as that was my purpose to show what kind of results occur from mid-level full time play. But I will not be posting such a post here. I am done trying to be helpful and contribute positively here. That simply is NOT what this site is about. This is a hate/attack site and that seems to be the owner's vision.
Yeah I figured you probably wouldn`t be doing that on here, but this was the last thread I think you posted in and I was too lazy to create a new one to ask you. I think I know where else to find it if you do. I`m glad it sounds like you`re going to do it though; always got a lot out of that.

The game was Kronos which I already knew had high variance. So I spin it off. I got the low end of the variance. It ran me to $498 and cost $1550 to hit it. I ran a $2300 wager so I literally got dropped for 67%. And this was with hitting the minor meter twice.

So on the first play of the day I'm stuck $1053. The steam was rolling out of my ears. My daily average win is a hell of a lot lower than that so I just knew I was going to book a rare losing day. However, I ran amazingly well on the rest of the plays for the day making $1077 on them. So I booked a solid $24 win for the day. LOL.

So, Alan, I still didn't have a losing day. Naaa na na naa naa
Not many APs can say they rarely have losing days, so well done on finding a niche and being able to consistently bring home the bacon!

I also enjoy your annual results post. Hope you do another one this year.

That you as well MWP. I don't know about posting results. That seems to be an invitation for people to attack me. But within my year end post, I like to give my assessment of how blackjack conditions, games, and this includes 'heat' in Las Vegas have changed during the last year along with my outlook for the future of card counting blackjack in Vegas for the next few years. I hope to find an appropriate place to post those thoughts...but it won't be here.

In the meantime, I have just answered the second part of SplitFacedDisaster's question (elsewhere), which was a real good question.

Fair question. It`s good motivation to see others doing really well with card counting. I`m just starting out playing full time, so it`s interesting to hear how people`s results go. Especially since KJ for the most part only plays Vegas at least that I`ve heard him talk about. It ain`t easy doing that!

Interesting. Best of luck in your endeavor. IT's very important for KJ, Midwest Player, and Zee to inform others and want to know about others P & L. People come up to me all the time in sportsbook and tell me about a loss or a win and/or how much they've made this season, year, or lifetime. I smile and congratulate or make a sad face and offer sympathy. But frankly, I could care less. It has nothing to do with the next game I'm going to bet. Hmmm, you know I never seem to have those 17 point dogs straight up on the money line as they do. But no one ever sees their ticket or sees them bet a game, much less a dog.

In blackjack, it's the count, my bet, my hand, my next move is all I'm thinking and want to think about during play. Then it's finding my game selection when my butt isn't in the leather high chair. But I get your point. My motivation is about 80% financial and 20% wanting something to do. I mean, I wouldn't be doing this for free or at a loss. Bill Parcells once said, 'we all through this effort to get a win. The good feeling last about as long as it takes to walk to the locker room. You look up and see the score, then start thinking about next weeks game. But the bad feeling from a loss sometimes never leaves."

It's not so much about winning or what others are dong. It's all about putting myself in the best situation to win. If I do that? The money takes care of itself.

Also, there are guys that go around looking at vacated machines where people forgot to take out their money. I suppose they get drunk and forget. How do I know this? Because they've told me and I've seen them doing it. They say they make good money. My question is, then why tell others?

I remember last winter, there was a cold snap where parts of Iowa got to -15F.
I was there when it happened. Of course, being from where I live I'm used to it.

I learned a lot of tricks in Alaska. Snow tires. You need at least a 700 amp battery. Cardboard to stick in front of the radiator. Fill up at half tank. Sleeping bags and canned goods in the trunk. Water. Lighters.

And last but not least, a tarp and space heater. If the car gets "arctic seizure," won't crank because it's to cold. You throw the tarp over the car and stick the space heater under it. Give it an hour then crank up and go.
Great tips Mickey, thanks a lot.

While I can understand wanting to keep some water in the car, I'd be concerned about it freezing, especially if it is kept in the trunk.

A block of ice in a container would be of no use until thawed.

How then do you arctic travelers keep the water in its fluid state when it is below zero outside?
    What, Me Worry?

Thanks, tableplay. A couple things I forgot. It's imperative to carry gloves. Bare skin sticks to iron when it's extremely cold and it's very painful to get it off. You'll lose some skin. There is another phenomenon in extreme below zero weather. When the car is parked the part of the tires that's on the pavement is slightly flattened. If its cold enough the flattened area will remain that way as you drive off. It's like driving on a bumpy road and you can break the air seal on a tire. Not fun changing a tire in extreme cold. You have to start out driving very slow to let the tires roll themselves back into shape.

You don't. It freezes. But it can be thawed out if you are equipped right.

Or....you could have led a normal life and did something called work instead of hoboing, hitchhiking, and living in vehicles all alone. Which means you could be driving something called a NEW CAR! which all run perfectly in sub-zero temperatures.

Now will you please stop talking about how white trash survive?

Highly intelligent of you. I've worked a hell of a lot harder in my life than you have in yours. You have air conditioned sinuses and a skinny punk ass. Your IQ is almost as high as your age. When God said brains you thought he said rain and ran for cover. Look up white trash in the encyclopedia. You'll find your picture.

You're pure white trash mickey. You live like it, you post like it, you look like it, your complete background screams it, and your two-bit gambling habit confirms every bit of it.

    Wise up.

Compared to a guy with a 9 1/2 cock who bragged about it but is unwilling to prove it for $100,000. And doesn’t care about any cause or charity to get them free money. All for just proving he wasn’t lying about what God gave him. Maybe you should check out all the good work the Bear Rescue League does while hanging out in Tahoe. If you don’t want to help kids, how about animals? Easy money for once in your life to prove everything you say isn’t a lie.

Who is the low life Rob?

Let's put an end this this bitter tirade too. Mickey has been completely honest about everything he says and does. And everything he says and claimed is backed up by real mathematics. What you attack as mickey being uneducated is in reality mickey being self educated. He has done quite well for himself. Perhaps one of the most honest posters and members of the AP community. And that includes issues in his personal life that he has overcome....completely honest.

That in contrast to you, who near as I can tell, everything you post is false and made up. Complete twilight zone stuff. Including your personal history, education...everything. You know it. I know it. And now anyone who wants to spend a few minutes and take a look will know it. Gigs up troll.

I had to smile when Mickey talked about square tires in the severe cold. This is true, of course. Alaskans deal with it, and I almost had to one year I was living in Syracuse and we had a severe cold front hit us.

It's also something we studied in elementary school in upstate New York and I even recall a National Geographic article on living in Alaska that mentioned it. (I must have been in fifth grade at the time.)
