As predicted...disaster.
Someone needs to slow him down and get him to just park his money in something long, and leave it be.
Of, course once he does that the market will start dropping. We should start calling him Unlucky Looney.
Seriously though, I'd like to help the guy, guide him at least a little, but I can't communicate with him as he's at WOV and I'm not.

Read some more of his posts over the years, he’s a lunatic. You tip more at dinner than he has “invested”. He’s been a bottom feeder for years and always looking for the long shot winner when gambling. It’s where his name came from years ago on slot forums.
Nothing wrong with trying to help someone like him but giving a bum on the side of the road $5 would be more productive.
OneNickel is a eccentric younger version, more polished Fleastiff.
AMZN hit a new all-time high today.
CMG hit all-time high today too. And they're not even open yet for dine in!

Today was a day when you definitely had to average in, at least if you were trading long as I was.

Yesterday at the market I got some steak - albeit high end, 100% grass fed, but it wasn't prime dry aged and yet the ribeye cost $20. a pound, and the filet mignon (tenderloin) $25.
Given these prices, how much will steaks cost at high end restaurants when Vegas reopens? In March 2020: the 20 oz. bone-in ribeye at Delmonico's was $60. - the 16 oz. split bone rib eye at Blue Ribbon, $67. and $92.95 for a 22 oz. dry aged bone in ribeye at Bavette's ($69.95 for Bavette's Chicago cut 16 oz ribeye).
Meat prices have dropped a bit at the supermarket in the past week but are higher than they were in March. Given higher prices and scarcity for red meat, will these already high prices for a top Vegas restaurant steak also go through the roof? If you're on a full comp you don't really even glance at the menu prices other than to feel satisfied that you're getting something on the house, but still - not everyone in the restaurant is on a full comp, and given the fear of dining in public post-coronavirus in the first place, will people additionally be willing to subject themselves to potential infection seated at a restaurant AND overpay for that privilege?

The Vegas casinos really are gearing up to re-open. Yes I am starting to receive the Welcome Back emails but besides that is what is going on behind the scenes....
I monitor my personal and casino credit closely. I get a free copy of my casino credit usually about once a year, although sometimes not as often since not much changes in there.
I had been waiting for a new copy for a couple of months, and then today I got the call from the bureau that casino credit had opened, they had updated my profile, and would send me out a new report.

After dropping as low as 5.5 it's now at 7.5. My target though is more like 19 for GE.
AMZN was breathtaking today. I bought trading shares long at 2388 and 2351. I overdid it, as I just couldn't see it staying down there, and at one point, when I looked, I was down over two hundred grand just like that. I wasn't really worried though it just seemed like there was no reason for it to have dropped this much, today. I was going to drop 1000 of the shares and hold the rest until at least tomorrow, but turned out there was no need. Now it's well into the green for me, as we're back over 2400 and then some.
That's the thing about being long on a stock like AMZN...no need to panic it always eventually comes back. Today it came back rather quickly.

Those who click to the D Las Vegas site will be connected with a D Las Vegas concierge who will complete the flight booking. Obviously, casino owner Derek Stevens prefers those who enter the campaign to stay at the D or Golden Gate. But tourists may also book the flight and stay at another Vegas hotel. The offer does not extend to Stevens’ under-construction Circa, scheduled to open in December.
Looks like some people are willing to go to Vegas....
Isn't Richard Wilk the head casino marketing guy at The D? They actually have some high end players?

Guess that's cheaper than running a bunch of commercials. That guy is good at thinking on his feet.
WOV is trying to seem elitist, making people who get suspended or banned want to get back in there, and jump through hoops for the privilege.
But we're doing just fine here at Delta House and don't need all them rules and regs.

We were in Palm Desert on business, and while in the area I stepped into Morongo which is one of the larger and nicer Indian casinos in southern Cal, although nothing to compare with anything good in Vegas. I went in alone for a commando photo raid – she waited in the car with the A/C running – this was more my thing than hers, she doesn’t really even like casinos, other than mostly for the spas and fitness facilities.
Clearly they were expecting, or had experienced, a line to enter, but on this Thursday afternoon, no wait to get in at all.
There is a Covid-19 warning on the way in,
advising that the pool, spa and buffet are closed, and that you must keep your mask on,
and social distancing markers, each one six feet apart, on the ground.
This is the entrance area
and the lady in blue with black pants facing the door asks you to remove your mask, which I thought was for some kind of temperature check, but turns out is for, unless I am mistaken completely, a digital camera picture. I do not know what they were looking for with that one, but after she took my picture she said simply, “You’re good” and waved me in. The deputy sheriff stands guard next to her.
Inside some of the slots are “socially distanced” with plexiglass barriers,
others create separations by being turned off, every other machine,
still others seem to offer no social distancing measures at all, and are all turned on in a row, same as always.
The tables games utilized no plexiglass, but had three per table seating only, to keep people apart.
There were more than a few completely empty table game sections.
I did notice a few people with clear plastic cups drinking some beverage or other. I didn't stay long enough to figure out whether these were self serve.
According to the sign by the entrance, smoking is allowed and you may remove your mask to smoke, but I did not observe anyone smoking.

The restaurants – not all were open – had tables moved pretty far apart.
There are sanitizers around, including this one on the way out.
And the exit –
courthouse, airport terminal, or amusement park style, is an exit only – no reentry. Hmm, so is that what the camera was for? that once your pic is taken you’re not allowed back in for a while? That doesn’t really make a lot of sense, but I didn’t stay long enough to find out.
This might be something like what we have in store in Vegas.
Over all, other than the check on the way in, a touch of plexiglass here and there and the distantly spaced restaurant tables, you might not even have noticed the three per table game only spacing - besides the MASKS, it might have just passed for an uncrowded afternoon at any casino.

I just don't see people finding an experience like those pictures portray having any entertainment value. These casinos are going to have to figure out something quick.
