Today, I got denied 7* today by one of the directors because "my comps are not in line with my play" after just earning 100,000 TCs in October from gaming in Atlantic City and after being ranked 40th in the October leaderboard. Tier score is 158K TCs now, I am still Diamond. Totally disappointed. Below are snapshots of the account and the leaderboard and conversations with the director today.

What do you guys think are the best ways to fight this, please?

    "Mr [Redacted],

I was informed this morning by the Caesars Rewards supervisor at Paris Las Vegas, my dominant property, that despite me reaching more than the required 150,000 Tier Credits in the Caesars Rewards program this calendar year (I am currently at 158,396), having no casino credit lines and no casino markers and also no security issues whatsoever, you actually disapproved my invitation to Seven Stars.

It took a lot of time and effort and a six figure coin-in to reach this incredible amount of tier-credits. I have had gaming days at 5,000 tier credits playing from 6 am to 2 am the following day. Out of the millions of people who visited the 9 Caesars properties in Las Vegas in October, I was ranked an outstanding 40th on the Las Vegas leaderboard (print screen attached).

The Caesars Rewards supervisor at Paris was incorrect to say that "most of" my "Tier Credits this year come form hospitality". While investing a 5 figure sum in hospitality charges such as hotel rooms and dining, in fact 2/3 of the credits, that's more than 100,000 tier credits, do come from play. She also said that "some of the tier credits come from 5X promotions" implying that Caesars is denying its customers the benefits of its promotions.

I do hope that you will change your mind. After Caesars Rewards downgraded the benefits of Seven Stars, removed the two Aspirations levels, me being denied the Seven Stars status for no valid reason will create additional disappointment within the player community.

    Best wishes,"

    Mr. [Edited],

Thank you for your email. I believe during our last correspondence I explained our player review committee. We have observed that your comps are out of line with your casino play. We appreciate the hospitality points that you’ve accrued but would not be able to upgrade your tier level. It has become necessary to do this to stop any further comp abuse on your account. Comp abuse would be a disqualification of the 7* status.

    Thank you
    [Redacted],

    "Mr [Redacted],

Please explain what you mean by "comp abuse" on my account. I always pay for my rooms, I never use parking, sometimes I use the Diamond Lounge, where I never order any alcoholic drinks, but I prefer to go to the buffet, for which I also pay, I have more than 150K of coin-in in the casino. How can my comps be "out of line" with my casino play, when I was ranked 40th just last month?

Can you please provide me with a detailed list of the comps that I have used?

    Thank you"

    "Mr. [Redacted],

You have redeemed casino offers with minimal casino play during a 24month period. A decision was made by our committee to suppress further offers. We won’t disclose comp information as it falls in the area of proprietary information.

    Thank you,

    "Mr [Redacted],

I would like to have those records, please, as I do want to make sure I was the one who used and benefited those comps that you have records for. I was told at Caesars Rewards today that someone could have simply fraudulently used one of the player cards I have lost in order to benefit from free parking, as no picture ID is required at the garages. For example, just this year, in September, a stranger fraudulently used my credit card information to pay for resort fees at the Flamingo (police report attached).

So under the new Nevada Senate Bill 220, of which you may not be aware of since it only recently came into effect on October 1st 2019, I am officially asking you to please release to me absolutely all of the records that you and Caesars Entertainment Corporation hold on me, including the list of received services from Caesars Entertainment Corporation for which no pay was required from me, commonly known as "comps".

    Thank you"

As long as people keep bending over and taking it from the casinos they will keep on fucking the players. #BOYCOTT #WAKEUP
You will not win an argument of logic. You invested your time and money in a loser.

As a preliminary matter, this Board is now an unlikely source of good conflict resolution or negotiation advice.

My guess is that CET thinks that the OP got the lion's share of his tier credits based on heavy play during one month's multiplier promotion in AC. Further, OP's play wasn't a particularly high ADT previously. So he will never get the required "invitation" to Seven Stars which has concluded he is not a profitable gambler. I think the threat to exercise his rights under the Nevada law is particularly counter productive and certainly will shut down further communications. Additionally, CET may conclude that a Nevada statute would not even apply to New Jersey created gambling records.

So my advice is use the Diamond elite flight benefits he may get next year due to his play this year and stop making a fuss. He was trying to take advantage of a promo opportunity (for which I actually applaud him) but CET won't play along. There was a long thread on this Board debating whether CET would honor a Diamond's 25 times tier credit gambit at Ak-Chin last year to make Seven Stars. It worked but there was substantial history of that woman being a serious gambler over the years and so probably not applicable as an model for this OP.

Any more "escalations" may cut him off from any CET benefits in the future. I am unaware of any further efforts he can take other than calling gaming control but since CET has the right to "invite" I see that as a futile (and perhaps counterproductive) effort.

Is that advice? Sounds like you're handing out lube to the OP.

Max my "advice" is to stop being a squeaky wheel lest he lose the Diamond Elite flight benefits he has already earned this year, and perhaps getting drummed out of all the Total rewards benefits in the future.

Your advice to him is to "boycott" and "wake up" telling him that he has "invested his time and money in a loser."

The OP can accept the advice of either one of us, or reject both.

This might be the proof that the casinos aren't stupid and APs get caught if in fact Skyscanner spent too many weekends without substantial play.

So... a question for Skyscanner: disregarding your tier points, how many comped visits (free hotel nights) did you take with minimal or no play?

I know there are APs who have taken multiple offers that included promotions, free nights, free play, etc without actual play on their part. This is the "overcomping" Caesars and ALL CASINOS are on the lookout for.

Gone are the days of checking into three different hotels on the same weekend to milk comps and offers at each hotel. The computers are catching up to the AP tricks.

It's ridiculous to fight this, and the OP would be far better off giving his business to other casinos. The first question would be why would anybody support CET to a 7-Stars level any more. All they do is continuosly raise the bar, cut paytables, close or restrict lounges, and stick it to players in every which way. But as max said, if the suckers can't or won't get the message and keep coming back for more, CET will happily oblige.

FAB actually wrote a good response. It may not be what OP wanted to hear, but I mostly agree with FAB here.

I have become concerned in recent years that Caesars has decided they've had enough with people who find the cheapest way to Seven Stars through bulk play in a short time, and then simply leech benefits for the remainder of the time they have the status.

The stories of this occurring last year were enough to scare me out of that very nice 25x tier Ak-Chin promo last year. At the time I was a bit regretful I didn't do it, because the woman who posted about it here got it without issue, but as FAB pointed out, she already had a fairly good gambling history which didn't resemble a comp whore.

skyscanner, as FAB said, it looks like you redeemed your offers with little-to-no play for 2 years, and then played heavily in October in a tier multiplier promo in order to reach Seven Stars. While I don't blame you for being annoyed here (I would be too), it's unlikely you can appeal this successfully, as you are simply not the type of customer they want.

This should also be a warning to everyone trying to earn Seven Stars in play/shut down fashion that it won't work anymore, and you might as well stop at Diamond.
