Thread: BS AP's

  1. #241
I see the AP bs is flowing once again.

FACT: Any casino who offers a 150% loss rebate would advertise the hell out of it. And not identifying where it is or was instantly deletes any credibility they thought they had. Making believe it's some super special ATM withdrawal secret is as stupid as it sounds. AP's are so much into their own state-of-mind egos that common sense never even dawns on them.

I've seen these rebates and I've seen a 200% loss rebate. THEY WERE IN BIG BOLD LETTERS ON HUGE CASINO SIGNS OUTSIDE THE CASINOS. Why? BECAUSE THEY MAKE MONEY ON THESE THINGS. Any promotion makes money for the casinos in one way or the other.

So to pretend some phantom 150% loss rebate promo is worth paying for the info over, is the same as some slug AP saying it only for the sake of saying it. And I'm sure some phony armchair gambler like Axel gets wet over claiming these type of things.

    Wise up, idiots.

Every site seems to have one or two of these types of 'people', bitter, angry and unhappy with themselves and their own life. Their only purpose is to troll and get under people's skin, with their own alternative version of reality.

That's ok....gives my a chance to check out the 'block' feature on this site. And bingo....an insignificant 'gnat' is no more! Oh look, no one has posted anything in this thread now for 24 hours.

Rob, I am in no way defending APs here, but I find it necessary to point out that your argument as written above is a classic example of being logically fallacious, an invalid argument, a non sequitur.

You are arguing that casinos offer 200% rebates because they make money overall on them. That may be true. Personally, I think in some long-term sense, it is true.

Your argument, as far as I can tell, is that APs must therefore be lying that they make money on these things. That doesn't, however, logically follow unless you consider AP-style of play to be identical to the entire market style of play.

I don't think you've ever stated this, and it can be demonstrated that AP play is not identical to the entire market style of play, so this would render your conclusion logically fallacious.

In addition, you seem to be implying that APs, after exploiting the rebate offers, fall prey to undisciplined play and eventual losses, as might the general population. This, however, by definition, is not what APs do. So there is a logical contradiction here.

You also have no evidence or data to suggest that APs play the same as the general population. That is problematic to your claims.

I think Rob's point is really this: if any casino had a 150% loss rebate it would be easy to find because yes they would advertise the hell out of it. Again I can't find any evidence on the Internet of this holy grail. No mention of a 150% loss rebate.

    Rob.... really a 200% rebate?

Is this round of silliness done now?

Yes, it was at the old Sienna on the Truckee River in Reno 3-4 years ago. The ads were all over the highways, and of course there was the small print that made the thing annoying. I went for it but as usual, I won.

And no redietz, I'm not saying what you're implying. I'm simply stating the obvious--that the infamous collection of "AP's" on these gaming message boards will play the same old monotonous tune every time when it comes to the kids rebates: that they are worth BS-X amount per hour, and all they can do us conjure up a pile of armchair phantom bucks. If any of these phonies here actually played, they'd have no trouble saying where it was or is at. Instead, they're making believe casinos are losing money on them so the fewer that know about it, the better. It all flows quite nicely into the "we are so special that we transcend the math the casinos own".

Like I said, AP is nothing but a state of mind.

The only thing phantom here is your fictional life and gambling wins.

Ummmmmm, last I checked, the only poster here who is "so special that we transcend the math the casinos own" was (drum roll, please) the inimitable Rob Singer. I mean, c'mon, man, you're talking about yourself!

LOL. You know, I always thought arci was overstepping things with his projection analysis of Rob Singer. But damn, Rob's always unintentionally throwing lines out there that describe himself. They are so spot on, and he's so allegedly unaware of them, that it's funny as hell. I kind of think maybe he's just pulling readers' legs. He has to be. Right?

For a long time Rob's position on loss rebates was they are not worth it because "you have to hope to lose." But now, in the last few days, Rob has admitted to working at least two loss rebates and making a profit.

Rob made a profit from playing and not from taking a loss rebate. Did you miss that redietz?

  12. #252
By his own admission, Rob hasn't profited anything. Just like you.

I promise you, I will never have a profit gambling... no matter how many $100k royals I hit and no matter how many ALLS I make.

I took Rob's "transcending the math" comment as being about APs in general, not rebates specifically.

I don't know anyone on this board who claims the math doesn't matter but Rob. We're into 5000 posts from him, and he still hasn't come up with a number at which his various strategies do not work. Is it 96% expected return? Maybe 95.7%? Perhaps 92.3%? Or mayhap 86%? We'll never know, because Rob won't say. And he has been asked on many occasions.

That is a real clear example of claiming to "transcend the math."

Really? Care to show me where I've said that? What a dumbass

Maybe you've caught the redietz disease, but in shorthand....you know, the one where he uses multiple posts and hundreds of words to try and scratch that RS itch with uncreative corny words that he just can't satisfy?

Rob, I don't want to be too critical here, but you used a subordinate clause in the wrong spot. You should move "that he just can't satisfy" so that it's directly after "itch."

Also, upon further review, you might want to drop the word "uncreative" because the way you've written it, it's possible to think that "creative" corny words would be okay.

Don't thank me. I'm always in your corner.

No he didn't miss it because he believes in phantom bucks being associated with playing these loss rebates--not REAL bucks. And unless he's using the same disappearing ink he uses when he posts his real name and proof of his so-called "40+ years of infamous claims" beginning with the wife who left him because she knew his life of gambling held no future, he probably believes he "transcends" common sense too.

Sounds like something you might have told your wife as she walked out on you, which us why you find yourself alone and living a make-believe life in your declining years.

    How's the pr pack coming

Rob, was this post supposed to reference me? You should correct the quoted part, then.

Again, don't thank me. I need to give my editing skills some workouts, and I appreciate your assistance.

You whiffed on that one, my friend. Try again.

Well, either the PR pack doesn't exist and I'll be shown to be a fraud, or it'll show up on Alan's doorstep tomorrow or Friday. One or the other.
