Thread: Where to get the best steak in Sin City?

  1. #1
    Hello everyone.
I'm going to Sin City next month and I'm a big girl with a big appetite for meat.
Was hoping someone could tell me where I can get the best piece of meat in town (price is not a factor).
    Thanks.

Try Old Homestead Steakhouse at Caesars.

Frankly every big casino has a steakhouse and I couldn't tell you what makes one steak better than another.

    This is Barney,

The most greatest Madam SueEllen, if you like the beef then you should stop at the Ins and the Outs Burger located right above the Southside Tunnel and Resort. For just $4.95 the LID gets the special large beefs burger which can satiate your beef cravings for up to six hours.

    Thank you very much

We've had some great meals at The Steakhouse at Circus Circus.

Don't let the fact that it is at that location put you off: it's a very good, old school steakhouse.
    What, Me Worry?

    In N out is overrated.

I kind of agree with Pig on this one. I'm a bourbon/rye lover. Herbs and Rye has one of the best selections I've ever seen. As for their steak, I rarely eat it but my wife loves their filet. The place has an old school feel to it, which I also like. A nice break from the casinos, and a good place to spend a lot of time.

Please stop.....Herbs&Rye is an overrated discount steakhouse. The meat is low quality. Might be Choice at best but most likely Select and it certainly isn't dry aged. If your satisfied with a gristly sub standard piece of meat at a discounted price then by all means have at it.
There is a reason they keep it so dark inside, forcing you to read the menu with a flashlight. It is so you don't see the piece of shit steak you're about to eat.

Max, totally disagree, as do hundreds of others around the city.

Been there twice. Two bad meals. I agree with Max as to the quality of the meat.

While I hate celebrity chefs and everything that surrounds them, I do have to say the steak at Ramsay Steak at Paris was great. But I think they used the "double up" button on their bill!!

Have always enjoyed the top filet at Oscars, as well as every meal at The Steakhouse at CircusCircus

For high quality cuts of beef check out the Dollar General Store.
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ

Speaking of Dollar General, the Ninety-Nine cent stores in the valley are a good source for asparagus.
