Of all my watches only my older (like from the 1960s) four digit Cosmograph Daytonas have required real service. The mainspring on one broke and it was hard to get the part because I didn't want to take it to the Rolex AD and wait months, so I had a friend in the business handle it took just a matter of weeks.

Also I had a JLC that seemed like it was malfunctioning but it turned out that the complicated function on it just wasn't meant to being adjusted with the push button while the watch was around midnight because the day and date function was in action. I turned that in under warranty and it came back a couple months later saying they had cleaned and serviced it but it was just the same.

Otherwise, I have not had a non Quartz watch of mine fail. However I don't really wear any single watch too much, I rotate them (if they sit idle for too long I try to at least wind them a few times a year, or shake them a few times a year to get the automatic movement going), and also I don't even wear an expensive watch most of the time, most of the time it's an Apple Watch, which right now I'm wearing an Ultra 3.

One thing about quartz watches and I have plenty that I never wear any longer - take the batteries out. I had a pretty valuable Tag Heuer Formula 1 from the 80s I left the battery in there and eventually the battery not only died but leaked destroying the movement. Luckily this happened maybe 15 years ago and Tag replaced everything made it like brand new at not too much cost.

Unrelated and not that it matters, but the BLUE font that I used in the post about acctinQ's quotes, was simply to easily distinguish between what I was saying and what acctinQ quotes were. With so many of us reading on our phones it is easy to miss that distinction, which in this case was most important. So sue me. Add that to Dietz's lawsuit and Singer arrest warrent. What a fucking forum.

You would have better, not worse ROI if you were using VP rather than slots to generate. If you are trying to make some other point here I do not see what it is.

The numbers are different for every freaking casinos and changed sometimes month to month, definitely year to year. And those 8 year happen to have been a very volatile time with this play, What we were getting the first couple years, while I saw still learning and handing off the play was very different (better) that what we were getting toward the end, say the last couple years.

Even before my partner passed, I had made several posts about how this play was dying for us as FP amounts were being significantly cut, starting with Boyd properties with Stations following suit pretty quickly. And those two chains were a big part of our VP play rotation. Alan also documented the huge decline in offers from these two chain local properties, showing that the same amount of play that just a few years before earned him hundreds of dollars in FP weekly, was at the time of his documenting it earning him $15 and $5 respectfully at Red Rock and Suncoast.

If you are the AP you claim, living in or playing Vegas regularly, them you KNOW this decline occurred and yet you said nothing as belly tried to manipulate the numbers to prove something that wasn't there.

If his answer applied only to slots, the he's free to provide the data for VP as well.

I suspect the numbers won't work for you either way, unless you keep moving the goalposts around to fit your narrative.

But a clear picture is not attainable if we don't have a baseline, and since you won't attach your story to any baseline (i.e. the truth), we use whatever data and estimates are provided by the experts.

You provided the figures for an 8-year period.

When examining the results of a specified time (for instance 1/1/00 - 12/31/07) , we need only consider the data for the entire period.

No need to don't break it down into smaller periods, individual months or years, that process wouldn't yield different results for the entire period.

The period examined can be considered to be one 8-year session, or the average of eight 1-year sessions, the math is the same.

V, you should know why he continues to engage with those he calls "trolls"---he HAS to, because he's always being rattled by the "trolls" catching him time and again with his lies and ever-changing stories.
