Make of it what you will, I've no comment as to enforcement as I have never dealt with this particular issue; perhaps you could research it to see whether the California bar has had similar situations come before it, and what they've done about it.
The dawg would likely first claim he posts anonymously, but you know his identity and can pass that hurdle, in all probability.
I suspect there would be no action taken upon you filing a formal complaint, but hey, "I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken."
The dawg has been merciless in his attempts to flame, discredit and insult you; who could possibly blame you if you filed a formal bar complaint against him, properly supported and annotated with source material?

Of course you are correct Axelwolf. Last night I headed out for my usual Saturday night blackjack play, as I play mostly crowded weekend times now. After a couple quick losing sessions, as sometimes happens, I stopped home to replenish my bankroll. I made the mistake of reading the forum as I was being driven home by the car service. Once home I logged on responded to a post and read some more. Then I decided just to call it a short night of play and watched a movie.Quote:

I am quite sure card counting has more than months remaining. You know they have been saying that for 60+ years right? So you are proposing casinos force every gambler to show Id? Just one of many policies responsible for Atlantic City's continuing decline.
Las Vegas is about the history and legacy. Benny Binion was known for accepting any size wager in the days when unknown people showed up with suitcases full of money, obtained who knows how. And while those days and policies are no more, the crackdown that you suggest, or Atlantic City requires to show ID to gamble or flat bet (refusing bets) just would not go over well with the history of this city.
It does seem that technology is working against us. But AP's will find ways around this. While I don't like this analogy because of the criminality aspect, each time the government puts some new technology thing in place to thwart counterfeiters, it takes about 20 minutes for people to find ways around it. APs will do the same. It is just the mindset.
I would love to have 10 more good years and retire early in my 50's, which wouldn't be all that different than my life now with lots of free time, although I would probably move somewhere more rural. And I think I will get another 10 years. And if I don't I will have the money to do something, self employment or open a business for a few years. I think I will be fine, but thanks for the concern.

It's obvious I understand and totally agree with the how & why approaches of AP's like Seed, Axel, Max, Mickey etc. around here. I couldn't have had an education and career as I've had and not have a respect for how they choose to make a living. And you might thoroughly comprehend why I used an anti-AP shtick up until 2019, but you just can't quite get yourself to admit it. Even redietz gets it, although he has a somewhat difficult time explaining it in the Martian language.
