Getting back to the theme of this thread, this post which will be long, but surely will rile up some of the KJ haters and trolls. And that is always fun. :)

So I have started to learn all I can about slot advantage play. Yes, late to the party as usual. I am in the earliest of stages, as an AP friend, isn't teaching me, but directing me to some videos and recourses that I might learn from, which I am grateful for.

I am not looking to make any major switch in my AP career, just branch out a little. For most of my time in Vegas, 16 years now, I have always had some sort of secondary supplemental play, which over the years has accounted for about 20% of my income. The first 10 years or so, until my partner passes and maybe a year or two after it was Video Poker and the mailers game. then after covid, I had a couple years with no secondary/supplemental type play. Then sports betting and the bonus chasing became my secondary supplemental play. Last year I also had a BJ electronic play that made me some good money, but that was more of a one-off type thing. And now that sports betting is dwindling for me, not done, but I think will become a smaller part of what I do and what time I spend on it, I am looking to move to something else.

So my immediate concerns, besides that I am late to the party, is that living and playing Las Vegas, there will be a ton of "competition". That is one of the reasons I never got involved in the vulturing phase. So we will see how that goes as I get into it.

Now I am not going to be able to give a blow by blow, almost in real time description of my play as I sometimes did with blackjack, as I just feel like that would be too identifying. But I think I can safely share some of my first day. :rolleyes:

First I have only learned 2 plays that I am looking for. Probably 2 of the simplest plays. So I spent 6 hours out walking around and through casinos looking for these two machines and the meters at just the right point. First, all that walking around looking doesn't seem very natural to me. I wonder if someone upstairs is watching and saying "I wonder what this clown is up to?". Maybe that is just my AP paranoia kicking in. Maybe it will seem less stick-out-like-a-sore thumb as I go along.

So in 6 hours and probably a dozen casinos or more, I found 2 plays. And one I had to play for a while before I hit free games, and still lost a little money on. Yikes! All told, I made a few bucks for my six hours. What Redietz would call lunch money. (if I was eating at a cheap place :D) I certainly hope the frequency of plays and amount I make in a day will increase as I add more games.

Again, I am not looking for this to be anything but supplementary to my blackjack play. I actually am starting to get more into the local casino blackjack play (as I did for about 12 years), not replacing but supplementing my once or twice a weekend higher limit strip play, so this will fit right in. As I hit a local casino for blackjack, I can circle around the casino before and after a session looking for an AP slot play or two. That is my hope anyway.

And again, I will not be posting details of this as I go. Those days are over for me. Too many haters trying to harm and sabotage me. But I thought it would be fun to rile up the KJ haters with this account of day 1.

As I wrote and then re-read this, it took me back 22 years to my first day of card counting in Atlantic City. I don't even remember if I won or lost that first day spreading $5-$30 at the Claridge Casino next to Bally's. I think I won one of my first two days and lost the other, but really don't remember. But what I do remember is when I spread to my max bet of $30 (seems funny to even write), I was sure somebody upstairs was watching and pegging me as a card counter. $30 freaking dollars. :D So that is just the paranoia that comes with advantage play until you get into it.

Good luck to you. Vegas is terrible imo, I've never liked it and I especially do not like the Asians controlling things like they do in such a greedy way. Doing this could jeopardize your BJ play I would imagine.

I have considered both these thoughts or possibilities. It may very well turn out this isn't something I will not pursue for long. That this just isn't for me. I'll let you know.

I don't see how this would effect my BJ play much. I don't play rated when playing blackjack unless there is some unique reason to, which rarely occurs. And I am not playing rated playing slots either.

Playing rated is one of the first things I thought about when thinking about getting into this. As I have been discussing for years involving Mdawg and more recently involving Dietz's claims, there are two components to advantage play. 1) you need something mathematical (or a glitch, which is also sort of mathematical) that provides a player an advantage. And 2) and this in my mind is even more important than #1, is you have to be able to play that game or play. The biggest advantage in the world means nothing if you can't get any money down on it for long. So THAT has always been my top priority. And I don't see anything different about this.

And this number 2, component, being able to play and keep playing is what has always been missing or wrong with Mdawgs claims. You can't play rated where there is a easy to see record of your winning and losing and expect that casinos are just going to keep allowing you to win like that. And of late Redietz seems to have bumped into this same issue with his claims. According to him he has been playing the same group of sportsbooks for decades while winning, who knows what he claims and they have taken no action against him.

THAT is just not the way it works. B&M or online....if there is a record of your play and it shows constant winning, they wont want your action. Anyone not understanding this (Dawg and Dietz)....sounds like a hot dog company.....just doesn't understand the casino industry.

I understood it was only mentioned to showcase what the low limit dudes can handle.Scarab links I dont have available but those are worth it. You have to learn to juggle and learn who is the competition and who won't be getting up ever. Since you dont really seem to have friends Kj, I would recommend paying for one of those sites which leak all the plays. The poker players use those things, they told me it costs $1500.

If these guys are actually asking how a winning sports bettor can get down even though he has won, my mission here is pretty much done. The answer to that kind of question is beyond obvious and nobody with any actual experience would ask it. If you are baffled by this question, you should probably step back and realize that you are approaching a non-random, permeable problem as if it were a video poker machine, and you really have no idea what you are doing.

So everyone call into the PFA broadcast and ask this question. Please.

And then we have, "How do you get down if you win?" LOL. Unless you're Billy Walters (and even he does it, as coach pointed out), having a historical winning record means you are often MORE LIKELY to get down. And get down earlier to boot. If the geniuses here can't figure it out, well, I pointed out the lines are in Gambling Wizards by Munchkin. That's a pretty old book, and there are only three or four sports bettors profiled in there, so go do some reading.

This fucking guy Bob Dietz turns more into a lying scammer/shyster by the day....by the hour even.

He is conflating Billy Walters and betting in real live sports books for decades, with his stupid claim of betting on off shore, online sportsbooks.

Walters used runners and multiple accounts. Dietz has said he didn't use multiple accounts and you can't use runners at on-line books. So the glaring difference that Dietz is trying to muddy the waters with is that with his claim, there is a record of his win and losses right there staring the online book in its face.

And it comes back to the same shit as with this Mdawg. Play rated with a record, or online (not using multiple accounts) and there is a record, plain and simple staring the operator, whether B&M or online (off shore) in the face. And if that records shows you are a winning player, they won't continue to want your action. THAT is the way this industry, both B&M and online works.

I know because I have made this very issue my specialty involving blackjack play and longevity. You can't win (even with an advantage) if you can't play and get money down. Dietz is just now throwing everything at the wall to try to explain away this ridiculous nonsense.

And then on top of everything else, he has the fucking gall to say ask him on the PFA broadcast interview, an interview that is NEVER going to happen, in large part because Dietz has thrown up road blocks every step of the way.

As far as heat in slots it’s almost nothing as long as you are discrete.

The people who get heat are the ones that run around banging on machines like they are playing a piano or camping behind ploppies for the whole day.

And of course, the guys that run 50 different players cards to pick up free play. Or play carded with 5 or 6 figure wins every year on the card.

The heat is nothing like card counting since the casinos know no matter what the machines are going to hold the 10-15% they are set for in the long term.

As long as you avoid any of the above heat will be nothing like counting.

Dietz was betting in real live sports books for decades before online sportsbooks were available.

How is that conflating?

Bottom line is this person Bob Dietz's entire claim of 40 year professional sports bettor has come unglued and fallen apart and he has been exposed.

From the publications showing contests that he cherry-picked to use tne w clients for his "tout" service to now making any money at online sports books.

Kim Lee a man Dietz himself talked up, studied the very publications Dietz names and concluded that his win rate was such that maybe he broke about even betting sports.

And now there is this nonsense about he bet some large amount of money at a select few online sports books (where there would be a black and white record) over the past 10-20 years and won significant money. He didn't! They would never allow that. He either is a long-time loser, or if he won some money it was an amount so small, they just didn't and don't care that much.

So there are two parts to his ridiculous (and growing more ridiculous by the day) claim. And both just are complete bullshit and either been proven false (by his own witness and evidence) or is just fantasy and NOT the way things work, ala MDawg's.... I win everyday and casinos love me for it.

Can we please get out of this fantasy land bullshit. If you are going to make claims of winning....and players CAN win long-term, know how things work, and don't be throwing out goofy fantasy nonsense that defies everything.
