I had a streak of over 500K hands with only two royals end on Dec. 1st last year. Since then I've had 9 royals. I also had a streak of 249 misses when dealt 4rf. Now, I've now hit 4 times in 84 tries. I prefer the good streaks. ;)

Fortunately, I was playing where I had a ~2% advantage. Therefore. I wasn't losing, I just wasn't winning as much as I should have been winning (and others around me were winning). Now, I have less of an advantage (since the machines at the casino with the great play got removed), but I'm having better luck.
finally have something 'post' worthy.. last night at Harrahs in Philly PA... this was my 12th royal this year..
$2800.00 playing double super times.. I was playing in dime mode about 10 minutes before this hit, but I was losing my arse, so I switched down to nickles.. oh well : ) : (

and about 5 hours later.. sorry its so blurry.. $2000.00 Ultimate X with a 10x multiplier, this was #13 for the year..
also had a hand pay on a Top Dollar Slot machine.. got the bonus and on my last offer I got $600 and then the 2x symbol light and then the other 2x came on.. $2400.00

Congrats Diamind!
JustADiamind those are awesome wins. Its good to see big wins like that playing low denominations because of multipliers. Do the wins outweigh the cost of play on these games?
sometimes yes, sometimes no... I usually play Super Poker, on that one you play an extra coin per line to get a big boost on 4OAK's.. I find single line machines boring, so I usually play 10 line which reduces the coin value I can 'afford' to play.. I typically do very well on that one but sunday all those machines were being played..
I don't get many but ain't it pretty??
By the way, the discard was another ace so I did toss a pair of aces. What are the numbers on that play??
regnis with four to the royal, YES, you drop a pair -- even a pair of aces. You even drop the paired ace on a game such as Super Aces Bonus or Royal Aces Bonus when you are dealt four to the royal. You did the right thing.

I dropped a flush for my latest royal.
I know dropping the pair is correct--just curious what the exact numbers are. Arci??? Note it was on ddb so aces valuable.
The only thing that should ever stop you from drawing on 4-to-the-royal in a non-wild card game is 9TJQK suited (natural dealt straight flush).
Monday at Rincon. Ultimate Aces machine. Triple play, Deuces Wild Bonus, $1 denomination.
Nice hit Chimp. Congratulations!
Are you going tomorrow for the tablet? We should be there around noon.
You're on fire Chimp. Congratulations! Another great hit!!!
Chimp hits the ol' 3/4 million to one shot!
Congrats. First slot button technique pays off for $50K. Then you flaunt your skills with your VP timing technique. Keep up the good work.
(Now complete the trifecta and go ahead and hit a keno jackpot!!!!!!)
OMG. Don't mean to be tedious, but......
Different Ultimate Aces machine, 50 cents denomination....
Four cards dealt.
Amazing hits, Chimp!
Ride the wave as long as it lasts. God, you must be having SO much fun now
Even Rob Singer would be jealous of you now.
I hope you keep winning, but I also hope you can squirrel away a bunch of the $$$
you've won this year in a safe spot somewhere if the variance starts to turn around on you.
Continued best of luck to you.
I would like to say a couple of things here:
1. Chimp is real and Chimp is not Rob Singer.
2. For a few minutes on Friday Chimp sat next to me while I played video poker. While she was sitting next to me I had four full houses in six hands. Let me repeat: four out of six hands were full houses. Then she moved and my good luck run ended.
3. Chimp is oozing luck. I think I had that good luck only because Chimp was sitting next to me.
4. Chimp is redefining the phrase, you can get lucky with Chimp.
chimp, with the photo just above, please explain why/how the Ace changes position? You said four cards were dealt, and I take that to mean four royal cards were dealt. In the bottom line the Ace is in position #1 (counting from the left) but in the top line the Ace has shifted to position #2. I've never seen that before.
Great job, Chimp.
Was the second one $24,000?
I think it was $12,000 since it is a 50 cent denomination machine.
Chimp I said keno not another royal.
That doesn't count. Royals are too Ez for you.
Very good point Alan. Does that mean the machines ARE rigged......
Were Chimp to have brought that up at the time of hand pay they probably would have said machine malfunction and not paid.
More information is warranted !
I stand by my assertion that these new V P machines are not random - we now have the evidence.
If that Ace of Clubs was tossed, (accidentally) it would not have reappeared, right ?
3 to the Royal ok, but Chimp said she held 4.
I agree it's likely just three cards (TKQs) were held and her picture was taken with the "HELD" cards cropped off at the bottom. The excitement of winning 5 figures and showing the photo hours later with the "HELD" cards cropped can make one easily forget a minor detail.
I am so sorry!!! It was three held. Vegas lover and Count are exactly right. My brain was in a fog. The only reason I even mentioned it was because of the bottom being cut off.
To confirm....it was .50....$12K
Hi Kerry. I have no desire to play keno. The only thing I know about it is that when someone near me is playing it, the ping ping ping sound drives me crazy. No offense if you are a keno player.
Chimp: if Rob Singer posted a photo like yours his critics would say it was photoshopped. :-)
Lol. I will have to be much more careful about taking proper pictures. And throw in some sort of proof that it is current and original.
I moved all of the comments regarding Rob Singer to a new thread called "Another Rob Singer Saga."
http://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/showth...ob-Singer-Saga
well since no one has posted any hits since Chimps slaying of the machines at Rincon, I figured I would share the adventures of my trip to Harrahs Philly yesterday..
after a 7 hour beat down, the VP gods decided to take pity on me..
the following happened in a 50 minute span...
Royal #15, this is one time I wish I was playing 10 lines to have more shots at the royal
http://pmherps.com/ROYALS/royal042815.jpg
4 minutes later, on the same machine..
http://pmherps.com/ROYALS/AAAA4quarter042815.jpg
then that machine went cold, so i moved over to a Super Times Pay Spin Poker machine..
about 20 minutes into my play I was dealt this.. a multiplier here would have been nice..
http://pmherps.com/ROYALS/77772cent042815.jpg
about 9 minutes later I finally got a multiplier (5x) and a decent dealt hand..
then this happened...
http://pmherps.com/ROYALS/AAAAkicktax042815.jpg
tally
2 - AAAA with a kicker, $1000. ea
1 - AAAA no kicker $400.
6 - AAA, $7.50 ea
grand total $2445.00
got the rest of my points (2500) and ran... lol
Nice hits JustaDiamind. You mentioned a 7 hour "beat down" -- did you leave with a profit?
Nice Justadiamind! Congrats!
Wow Arc! Am I reading the pics correctly? 16k?!
Was that all in one trip?
Woohoo!
Congrats, Arci. Excellent.
Glad to see that your royal flush slump ended. How long (how many hands) in the slump?
Arci, just noticed you are in Minnesota. Was that at Jackpot Junction?
Arci, nice hits. Congratulations. What game/pay table were you playing? Also, that machine looks ancient, haven't seen a coin-in slot in years. Excellent hits though, congrats again.
I too congratulate and am happy that arci has been hitting royals by the dozens or whatever. I did not visit Grand Hinckley casino when I was in Minn. because it's run by Indians and I do not believe their machines can be trusted to the extent the machines here in Nevada can, so to me it's a waste of time especially when the roads are not the best for travel. But somebody has to win on them (and I hope he is really winning overall) and it might as well be him. Lord knows, a change in fortunes is always a good thing. I also heard Shirley Dancer wants to know who's been hitting all those royals :)
Early this morning I hit royal #3 of the year... yes, just a couple of days after hitting the "big royal" at Caesars. This royal was smaller and it was at Rincon.
I was playing the 25-cents Double Super Times Pay Bonus game when I was dealt three to the royal with a 3X multiplier. I was playing three lines and on the first line the royal filled in. $3,000. Photo below.
I don't normally play this game. I was playing 25-cent Royal Aces Bonus on the machine that now occupies the space that machine #3116 used to have. But after a few minutes of playing a Keno player came and started pounding away at the Keno game on the machine next to the one I was on.
I'm sorry but I hate Keno players. Well -- I don't hate the players -- what I really hate is their banging at the keys and screaming at the machine. And then this guy's girlfriend joins him and the two of them were screaming at the machine.
I didn't have the budget for this quickie trip to Rincon to move into the high limits room so I just turned around and moved to the Double Super Times Pay machine where my ears would not be pointed at their voices and button pounding.
I had a pretty good run on the Double Super Times Pay machine but no big multipliers. In fact, I only got one "double" and the total for the double was a paltry 6x and I got nothing on the hands to multiply. But without multipliers I got several four of a kinds including quad aces -- so that kept me playing for a quite a while.
Then the royal which is #3 this year. My first royal was the 25-cent single line at Rincon playing 8/5 Bonus. My second was the sequential at Caesars at $5. I feel like I am on a roll. Not a "Chimp roll" by any stretch... but just a roll.
Didn't you say you weren't playing at Rincon anymore? The $5 royal money must be burning a hole in your pocket.
I go there to use my free play. I had $220. And (we're supposed to keep this a secret) I play on someone else's card to help them reach 7 Stars.
Alan swore he would never go to rincon again. He's a degenerate plain and simple. A Friday solo trip to the middle of nowhere to play .25 video poker is the epitomy of a degen. Face it Alan you lied once again are getting called out on it. Now "spin it your delusional way" And make sure you overuse your infamous """""""""""" marks. It puts me on such monkey tilt how you wrap all your delusional sayings within quotation marks.
Kerry W. will be taking one week off to think about his personal attack. (This is something I learned from my time on the WOV forum -- when to push the suspension button.)
Actually, I went late Thursday night to make use of the 5X multiplier on video poker.
And yes, I played 25-cents video poker which was the only thing I could play using the free play that was available.... and then I got lucky.
Congrats Alan!
Maybe #3116 was holding you back from your true royal potential!
Alan:
Congratulations. A Royal on a multiplier is great. Does this mean you are now in positive territory for 2015?
FAB
Either that was a shifty answer or you read the question wrong. Whichever, the more important questions I think are: how much profit did you leave there with, and did you walk immediately after hitting that royal or did you employ your "keep playing until most of It's gone by continuously lowering your exit point" strategy? Also, when will you be going to a casino again? If you were behind until this and that great royal at Caesar's, it might be wise to thank your lucky stars and hang it up for 2015.
Let's put two and two together: Previously I posted that I was a couple thousand behind on the year. With $200 in the machine I hit a 3X royal for $3,000. I think that puts me ahead (or very close to it) for the year, don't you?
Rob, why is it your concern if I continue to play in 2015?
I will return to Rincon as long as the free play lasts. I don't know how much longer that will be because my weekly free play has dropped to $85 and there are some daily promotions that can add about $70 or $80. There are some ways to gather several weeks of free play into your account before actually playing and some of us regulars do that.
There is no incentive for me to play to earn tier points: I've reached 7 Stars and the "signature bonuses" are not worth the extra play that is involved. When I do play it is with someone else's TR card because I want them to get the points.
Besides, I am only a recreational player. If I return to Caesars in Vegas it will be because of a show or promotion or special event or work (I do have clients in town).
But Rob, I don't think you should preach her. It's not your business why others decide to go to casinos. Your advice is good but you should refrain from making judgment calls.
Hey Alan, isn't it a problem if you get a hand pay with a w2g using someone else's card?
Oh by the way it's 1/11.
It's happened a few times now. But I switch the cards before the floor person shows up.
Got my 2nd royal of 2015 Friday night.
Alan, I only brought it up because I read where you said you were not going back to Rincon. Sure you can change your mind, but you aren't going to admit that the $5 royal gave you new ammunition & confidence enuf to "pull you in" for more action when you've said many times that 200 bucks isn't worth your time to go there? I know you're mostly talking to other 7-stars members with the same interests and weaknesses as you, but we're all not like that. Thus, the comments & questions.
That's one of several issues I have beaten the casino on in an appeal to the gaming board. Player was using someone else's card. Jackpot was hit. He pulled the card. They refused to pay because he was playing on someone else's card.
On appeal, we claimed that someone else had left their card in the machine and he didn't notice until the jackpot was hit and he went to pull the card to set on the machine so the slot attendant could put her card in to pay the jackpot. That and some legal BS quoting the regulations here that the jackpot must be paid to the person that pulls the lever or hits the button, etc.
We did agree that an estimate of points earned on that card prior to the jackpot would be voided.
That's a sensible argument. Without it you probably would not have won. The give on the points issue seems to be some kind of compromise. In Nevada, you can play with anyone's card and the points are valid unless there's a specific policy that using another person's card is not allowed. Palms, for instance, has that policy. Stations does too. When I train people and I'm playing I regularly use their cards at casinos that I'm not aware of them having this policy at.
Rob: I hit the royal at Caesars. I was there for Memorial Weekend. When I go to Rincon it's to play free play and since the points don't matter to me I play on a friend's card. I have made many "hit and run" trips to Rincon that I have not talked about here because I have clients in the Temecula area and I am only about 20 minutes from Rincon.
Absolute BS. There is no policy and there are no rules about disallowing a jackpot because someone else's card is in the machine. Now, if you say there is such a rule SHOW IT TO ME and please don't tell me it's in a storage locker in New Mexico.
Just about two weeks ago another player got quad aces with a kicker for $10,000 playing on a friend's card at Rincon. No one said a word. He just shrugged and said "oh, that's my friend's card."
And as I said before if they want to ban me -- they'd be doing me a favor.
Well said coach belly.
By the way -- what also matters is who pushes the button. If two of you are sitting at a machine and the girlfriend pushes the button and gets the winner -- it's the girlfriend's jackpot.
Congrats dannyj!
dannyj where were you playing? 9/5 DDB is gone from Rincon and I think it still exists at the Caesars properties in Vegas... but I don't play it there. Nice hit, too!!
Alan, you need to go back thru Dancer's articles and find where he hit a $100,000 royal at Sunset Station while playing on Shirley's card in order to get a higher level for her because she couldn't play anymore due to her health issues. They disallowed the jackpot and showed him their policy about playing on ANYONE else's card. He then had Compton or someone talk to management about how he was a sponsor on their "optimal pay" games throughout the Stations casino, so they finally paid him days later out of professional courtesy. I also got stopped using the card of someone I was training at Palms, and I had not hit a jackpot at that point.
So before you assert anything is BS or claim to want to see everything you don't know about in writing, give it a little research effort yourself. And don't tell me it's in your lock box at Caesar's and you can't fetch it for the next umpteen months because you're not going there to gamble anymore.
Interesting subject. You do not need a club card to play, right? But some casinos will not pay if a wrong card is in a machine? Show me that casino policy.
Casinos can have whatever policies or rules they want. However, gaming law supersedes casino policies/rules.
Generally I would agree with you but in Nevada there are many gaming rules that are not written by the NGC including the rules for playing craps. You will not find the standards for a legal throw written but they are "understood" yet casinos can have their own interpretation. I found this out after my incident at Bellagio.
RS__ do you know the rule on cards? The only rule I know is who pushed the button.
What incident at Bellagio? I thought you just got kicked out / backed off for the DI stuff.
If I remember correctly, a legal throw is where the shooter throws the dice in a forward motion and attempts to hit the back wall (or something weird like that).
I am not familiar with any laws that say playing on someone else's card is illegal (if card is legally obtained and card owner allows you to play it, that is), nor of any laws that state a player may not be paid because he was using someone else's card.
I am not interested in casino policy. That is, unless the law states it is up to casino policy on whether or not to pay a jackpot. I have never heard of any such law, either.
