LMAO! :D But in all honesty, he was stupid to write himself a fake check for 99 Billion dollars. He should have known Chase would be putting his Account in the red when they found out the 99 Billion dollar check was fake.

Another guy said something like,"Thank God I wasn't stupid enough to write a fake check for 99 Billion dollars. I was smart enough to only write a fake check for $300. Another Poster said something like,"The guy who wrote a fake check for $300 was stupid too, not smart. I don't know why this idiot thought that making a fake check for $300 was smart of him to do."

I, Tasha responded something like,"He wasn't stupid. He could easily reimburse the stolen $300 with his next paycheck. The $300 he stole was technically a short term loan that he could pay back quickly." Other Posters pointed out that I made a good point.

Back in the day you could kite checks all the time. Need groceries but don’t get paid for a couple of days?

You write a check at the grocery store for the groceries today or booze or whatever & by the time the check cleared the bank the money would be in there.

Back in the day some people did a similar trick with credit cards. They were broke and their credit card got canceled because they didn’t pay it, were over the limit, etc. they would just find a small merchant that didn’t have the computerized swiper that checked on the card but instead had the manual tray that made an imprint of the card with carbon paper.

I had an inkling that Posters would question him writing a fake check for 99 Billion dollars. What people were doing was writing fake checks and wiring the fraudulent money to other sources such as Cryptocurrency.

I myself YEARS ago did a check kiting for around $42. The check bounced and I ended up being charged almost $230(The supermarket charged me around $70 and my Bank charged me around $150) and I was put on a check blacklist where I am put as a red flag to not be able to pay with checks anymore. :/ At least I wasn't writing and depositing fake checks for huge amounts and then withdrawing it like what the people who did the Chase Bank check glitch fraud were doing.

Back in the day the trick was knowing exactly how much float time you had before you attempted it.

And overdraft protection never hurt either.

He did get $99 Billion worth of crypto but because the pricing bubble had already collapsed on that particular crypto, it only cost him a few cents.
