Instead of scamming the bank for 200 dollars, he should have deposited a fake check for 100 Billion dollars & then he could hire the best lawyers to get him out of any legal jam.

LMAO! But in all honesty, he was stupid to write himself a fake check for 99 Billion dollars. He should have known Chase would be putting his Account in the red when they found out the 99 Billion dollar check was fake.

You write a check at the grocery store for the groceries today or booze or whatever & by the time the check cleared the bank the money would be in there.

Back in the day some people did a similar trick with credit cards. They were broke and their credit card got canceled because they didn’t pay it, were over the limit, etc. they would just find a small merchant that didn’t have the computerized swiper that checked on the card but instead had the manual tray that made an imprint of the card with carbon paper.

I myself YEARS ago did a check kiting for around $42. The check bounced and I ended up being charged almost $230(The supermarket charged me around $70 and my Bank charged me around $150) and I was put on a check blacklist where I am put as a red flag to not be able to pay with checks anymore. :/ At least I wasn't writing and depositing fake checks for huge amounts and then withdrawing it like what the people who did the Chase Bank check glitch fraud were doing.
