Alan was a gamblin' man playing negative expectation games, often at a pretty high level, while not having an edge / not being an AP.
Which is how it goes...how it's gone for me...I've pissed away $70K to date gambling: it happens.
But $70K is pin money for me: with my savings, my investments, and my investment income I could lose a lot more and not sweat it.
