Instead, Beachbumbabs said something like,"Nathan, you need to suck it up and grow up, or I will ban you," and didn't reprimand the Posters who were bullying and insulting me. I was shocked and confused. Posters were shocked and confused too, saying stuff like,"What kind of nasty Admin threatens to ban the bullied and insulted VICTIM who asked for help? Beachbumbabs also gave me a two week Suspension for supposedly hijacking a thread that was about a guy offering a complete Stranger $2,000 out of a $4,000 jackpot to claim it for him and the guy did it but questioned why the guy didn't want his entire $4,000 by claiming it himself.
Other people brought up Alimony, and I merely responded to people who brought up Alimony first. Beachbumbabs Suspended ME for the Alimony posts despite me merely responding to other people who brought it up first. Other Posters were disgusted that I was the only one who got a two week Suspension when I was merely responding to other people's posts about Alimony.
One day, I had enough of Beachbumbabs when she accused me of hijacking another thread when I merely made a lighthearted post asca reply to someone who said something like,"New York is so uncomfortably cold in the Winter. " I lightheartedly said something like,"You should visit Florida in the Winter! You'll feel really toasty, LMAO!" :D
Beachbumbabs accused me of hijacking the thread and I finally had enough of her bullying and instead me and went off on her, thinking I was going to get a one month Suspension because of the Martingale that was still in place back then. Right after my cussing rant, a Poster said something like,"Nathan's right. Beachbumbabs is incredibly mean to Nathan and doesn't get any consequences for being incredibly mean to Nathan."
Shame I never got to celebrate the one year Anniversary of Nathan's Corner on WOV as the cussing rant happened about a week before Nathan's Corner one year Anniversary. I remember thinking, I should have waited one more week to do that cussing rant so that I would have been able to celebrate the one year Anniversary of Nathan's Corner.
I'm still trying to figure out how you missed that I pointed out that it was JB, who posted under my username. Wasn't JB, who was an administrator, at the time, the one who wrote out the source code for the forum? How hard would it be for him to start threads under another username? Was there really a user named "Hot Blonde" on WoV who was actually obese? And she met people in person?
And on that note, has anyone met beachbumbabs? I saw her mentioned so often here that I looked her up on WoV. Seems to be a fairly knowledgable gal. I picture her to be early 60s. How close am I?
1.) There was, and is, a user named HotBlonde; she's not banned as far as I know.
2.) The most active thread involving her was a weight loss challenge; I don't recall the particulars, but one assumes she would have been clinically obese.
3.) HotBlonde is an actual person who is still associated with gambling; moreover, she has met multiple WoV members.
4.) I met BeachBumBabs in Las Vegas as have many other people. Monet says he has, I believe, so I assume that would be true, but I never discussed that with her.
5.) I don't know or care how old she is. While I have seen her, I consider speculating on a woman's age to be rude.

Tasha, I am sincerely happy for you and your WoV return, only because it was so important to you for so long. I went through that myself, wanting to get back to WoV, and did so with the help of my good friends Maxpen (<-:D) and Axelwolf, which I did and still do greatly appreciate. But you will soon realize that WoV is not what it used to be. Not even close. In fact it is not really very different than here except more heavily "selectively" moderated.
A warning to you though. Don't get too comfortable as you have been set up for future disappointment. MrV asked the question, "why do you think you were reinstated?", when Shackleford is so adamant against that kind of thing. The answer is because Mdawg who for sometime has controlled and manipulated Shackleford, worked his "magic". So the next question is why did he do that? Do you think he cared about you and your return?
No he didn't and doesn't. At some point he will say something like "even tasha is allowed back at WoV, but KJ isn't". That is all he wanted out of this. The fact is that I am not currently at WoV, because I quit or resigned. Apparently a month after I quit, I was nuked. Like you can fire someone a month after they quit. :D
During the time I was reinstated before I quit, I felt like I was walking on eggshells. Shackleford has said things like "he was looking for a reason to get rid of someone he doesn't like or isn't welcome". And you will now be a target atop that list. So tread lightly.

A lot of times I can deduce someone's age from their writing style. Hers came off as about a decade older than me. I asked her age because I wanted to see how accurate my guess was.

I didn't read about the Tasha/BBB thing when it occurred at WoV. I know Tasha (this is my settled on name) has said she cussed out BBB and was nuked. She was nuked. Presumably rightfully so. But wasn't that 5, 6, 7 years ago? Tasha has apologized and expressed regret/remorse (something most don't do) and more importantly BBB is not active at WoV. She may show up once a year. So why shouldn't Tasha be allowed back? :confused:
I didn't read Tasha at WoV because most of what she posted about had no or very little link to gambling topics, let alone advantage play. It was just goofy stuff. Here at least over the last couple years she had posted about her gambling experiences, Bingo, free play that she gets (ubering to collect that free play :D, which is crazy), but at least it is gambling related. As much as some other recreational gamblers post about. Near the end of his time at WoV, the late Alan M, was posting about collecting $5 and $15 free play amounts at Red Rock and Suncoast, so why shouldn't Tasha be able to share here experiences.
IF BBB was really still an active member and objected, that would be one thing.
Let the Kid post at WoV, MrV. It is important to her and she isn't hurting anyone. I am pretty sure they have set her up for a fall anyway and it won't last long.

Remember when I was banned at WoV the first time? Qfit, remember him? He showed up at WoV where he hadn't posted for more than 5 years to resume a feud with me, that ended with that banning.
And then what happened? Qfit completely disappeared for several more years, not to be heard from again, until guess when? When I was reinstated. All of the sudden he showed up again, objecting and working Wizard behind the scenes again. And now that I have voluntarily left again....guess hat? No more Qfit.
If someone isn't an active member they shouldn't be able to have a say, should they? Even if they were initially involved.

I will say that Tasha has been behaving a lot better for the past 2 years. We had the problem with her over here with all the fake accounts, and it was getting on my nerves.

In seems Mdawg's little play to get Tasha reinstated has cause quite the rift at WoV. Maybe that was Dawgs intent. I always thought one of his agendas was to make a mockery of WoV and Shackleford.
