I don't think that is all that far fetched. Others, including Axelwolf have since very early on, thought that the pictures Mdog posts, are not really his. That they belong to a wealthy client, associate, friend or family member. This father Mdog 1 and Mdog 2 fits that bill.

I was more referencing the "cash games are good at WSOP" thought. I don't know if that is even a belief anymore but I seem to recall it being a thing years ago. Whenever I've played cash I didn't feel that was the case. Game were about standard for LV. Lots of them but then the lines are so fucking long you waste so much time dealing with the waits.Quote:

If you havent made even low to mid five figures as a solo AP, where it wasnt just variance and/or luck, but actually grinding it out for hundreds of hours or even a thousand hours, youre not an AP to me. It doesnt even have to be counting, but just anything solo that youve done. Show me something where you had to fund yourself, pay your bills, and how you persevered through the down times when no one was there to hold your hand. Not to mention if you have a job and claim you make all this monry, thats a red flag in itself.
Whether it's solo counting or poker, or sports, it's not the act itself thats important, it's the indirect variables that these APs possess that really shows how good they are with money and actually have what it takes to make it. Also as a caveat, if you got backed at any point like these degenerate poker players, that doesnt count either. Yes, my dad gave me a handout once, that I never asked for, for 20k that he gave me and my brother as a one-time gift that his parents did for him and his siblings, so he passed it on, but he never otherwise gave me money ever. Keep in mind, that's when i still had 40 to 45k with no debt and without a job for like 3 years at that point.
That's why you see very little solo APs. It's a bunch of wannabes with a story that needed team funds to stay in the game. These are the same people that flamed out trying to make it themselves. This simple rule would prevent a lot of scamming and skimming that happens in this industry./community. Tell me your solo AP career and how you persevered. 99% of you, have no solo career. You people can claim team play is more beneficial, but thats more of an excuse to make yourselves feel better. Most, if not all of you are teamimg up out of weakness, not strength. Counting really exposes the nuts and bolt of the brain of a 'gambler'. Can these scammers and skimmers backcount for 500 hours straight without placing a bet? Maybe you roll differently but I pretty much play solo as do most of the people I know, so I’m not sure who all these frauds, scammers, imposters & people making fun of you even are.
I prefer to keep my interactions with others somewhat minimal so i guess I encounter a different universe of people than you do.

As far as the benefit, there is none if you're happy staying in your lane and making on average, less than 100K per year.

It doesn't offend me that you or anybody else doesn't want to associate with others or engage in any type of team play or networking. For a somewhat normal person, the benefits are a significant financial gain. There are social benefits, fun camaraderie, and long-term friendships that develop that go outside and Beyond Advantage play.
You obviously seek community social engagement and some camaraderie, or you wouldn't be on these forums in the first place.
Now, one might be self-aware enough to know that they absolutely shouldn't meet with or engage with other Advantage players in person because they are prone to drama, causing issues, and having problems with others, where shit gets fucked up most of the time.

I also have an AP friend that many people know or know of here in Vegas that does not participate either at WoV or here. He has a couple times asked me if I want him to come here, create an account to "vouch" for me. And both times I have said no. I would never ask anyone to come to this troll forum. Nor is there anything to "vouch" for. I am an AP that lives and plays Vegas that shares some of what I do on a couple forums. I am not applying for secret membership in some secret club that requires someone to vouch for someone. So no, I am not going to ask someone to vouch for me, so I can gain membership in the retard club. :D
Look, you don't need to meet someone, see them play, test them like teams do in blackjack, socialize with them, ect to know who knows what they are talking about.
