Garnabby's jealousy of Tasha has always been amusing, though not particularly surprising. Whereas Tasha has been allowed to live out her life unfettered with her mental illness(es) unchecked and unmanaged, Garnabby has been subjected to all sorts of unwanted interventions to get his brain unscrambled. And the fact that these interventions have made the problems worse is no doubt a main contributor to his resentment.

Just remember Tasha, whenever it seems that life is unfair and you can never get a leg up, somewhere in the great white north is a man even more retarded who would trade places with you in a heartbeat.
