I gave the timeline of events, leading up to the removal of the ASM in question. That is all I can do. Was this why they removed the ASM's and they have never been seen again? Or was it some other reason. Maybe a trial period was up. Maybe despite my personal results of losing more at those tables, overall the tables with those machines were bring in less. Actually, I would say that was a possibility consider a team of AP's were hitting those tables and ASM. Maybe those particular machines broke down more frequently although I don't remember anything like that and the original machines break down quite frequently, so it is hard to imagine, even more than that.

On one of the blackjack forums, there was a discussion about filing a complaint with NGC. being an active players, I immediately said I didn't want to be any part of that. I would be happy to share my information and work behind the scenes, but I didn't want to the face of any complaint. So there was some talk of recruiting Michael Shackleford to be the face of the complaint. Mike was out of town as this discussion began, but I think at least some of the discussion was on the open forum. The very next time I visited the casino the ASM had been removed. Mike returned several days later and was in fact interested in at least looking into this situation, maybe tracking show play himself and comparing results, but by that time, the machines had already been removed.
So it could have been the public discussion and accusation. It could have been when talk turned to Shackleford being part of it. It could have been a trial lease expiring for all I know. I just can't possible know why the machines were pulled, all I can tell you is the timing.

BUT if you knew this there are ways you could turn the table, things you could do, a specific strategy. THAT is what the AP team was doing. I have since learned some of that, but am not going to spill that here. I don't need any other AP's mad at me.
Very similar is the situation with CSM. It was about the same timing as this incident that I became friendly with a really top notch, pretty well known AP that lives here in Vegas. AS we were discussing shuffle machines, he told me of a way to beat the CSM. Not the regular card counting using the "muck" that is common knowledge but something else related to how the machine works. The overall advantage is small, very small about a 1/5 to 1/4 of 1% You would have to play really big bucks to make any money, and that might just blow up the whole thing. I used this technique a couple times, but frankly my usual card counting was 5 times the advantage, so I didn't bother.
So low and behold in the last 6 months to a year, discussions involving this technique have been going on throughout forums, WoV, the blackjack forums, ect. Not here of course, because this isn't a real AP forum. There have been several teams that whacked CSM at a couple different locations betting huge bucks.
These machines just are not random....NONE of them. Some of that is the way they leave the factory and that can be exploited even more with minor adjustments in some cases. Some of this non-random stuff can benefit the casino if/when they figure it out, and some can benefit the players and more and more THAT is being figured out. Players and teams of AP's are at a little disadvantage, because to figure some of this stuff out, you really need to get your hands on a machine and that is not easy to do.
There is a saying with counterfeiting that as fast as the Government can put in new security measures, counterfeiters, can come up with ways around it. That sort of applies to advantage play as well. As fast as technology moves in the casinos favor, AP's, not me, but sharp, smart AP's can figure out ways to beat it. Completely legal ways.

Everything I have heard from knowledgeable, credible people is that dice influencing is not a real thing. Wheel spun? Like roulette? Sure there can be a biased wheel. It would be rare in this day and age because casinos measure them regularly. Even if a wheel was slightly unbalanced it isn't like it is going to land in that one heavy spot every time. It might be like 5 times out of 100 instead of 3 times, or if it is an area maybe that area hits 11 times out of 100 instead of 9. It would take a lot of effort and data to recognise this bias and then it would be gone probably as soon as you did.Quote:

But note that there is not a single response to any of these 5 days reports. NOT 1! THAT is total victory!!! Sure that may change in the coming days as someone decides to play along, but no one believes his BS.

Now changing subject for probably the last time back to the original topic of this thread. This case is now officially over! (where the fuck is the celebrating emoji?) :confused: I have been informed in the last 30 minutes that the judge approved and signed the settlement agreement. This agreement was sent back to us by the judge last week, when the other party tried to change the terms. It was only re-submitted on Friday and this is one business day later.
This is just my feeling, and maybe I am way wrong, because I don't know how these things work, but I feel like the shenanigans pulled last week may have actually fast tracked this approval. Like the Judge may have wanted to act before any additional shenanigans. Actually, I don't know why there would be any delay in approving anyway. Some clerk reads the settlement and if everything is kosher, the judge signs. Seems like it should be a 10 minute ordeal. Probably more to it that that, but again, this is just my own thoughts. :rolleyes:
Anyway THAT is done. Don't know when I will see the actually moolah in my account.
I fear information about this case will soon be known, mainly my identity. If that happens, nothing I can do about that. People looking could have already found some info if they knew where to look and no I am not about to direct anyone.
At some point, I have an interest in talking about this case. Not on any forum. I fought for that right and have some things I want to say. Obviously I can't name the casino, although I expect that too will come out. And I can't say a settlement amount. I will abide by that. But there are some things I want to share that I haven't yet on advice from my attorney. GWAE would have been the spot, but the timing didn't work. Maybe some podcast by Shackleford or Dan Druff. Maybe AC. But two of those venues would be problematic because I will not show my face, even if my name becomes known. We will see how it plays out.
I am going to take a break for a while. Not going to commit for how long. Maybe it will be days, maybe weeks, maybe months, maybe forever. That is my choice and I have the right to post again whenever I want. But I will tell you, I am growing real tired of the damage being done and attempted done to me, simply because I share some things on a gambling forum.

The hardest part i find about his story to be true is that he has gone all this time with almost no backoffs and being 86ed. I get what the says he does but even then there are limits. Anything less than that is a backoff and It's just a matter of time before you can return. Most times it is crystal clear that they're coming for you and you can roll out without incident before even getting approached much less cornered. Then it's up to you how many identifying factors after the fact surveillance has to work with if they really want to pursue further action.Quote:

Will we ever see proof of any of this? LVRJ reports on every public casino case in as much detail as possible. Thus far they have no knowledge of such a case. That doesn't mean they won't. If they ever do, look for a story from Velotta or Ross.
Of particular interest is why is there no criminal charges when there's personal injury involved? That's not up to anyone but the prosecutor. And of course, why is there no public CC case no. filed in kew's real name as yet, or even a "back-rooming" case vs. ANY casino in the past 4 months?
As nervous a poodle as kew is, I wouldn't put it past him to have collaborated with our friend max for those sudden & timely carefully prepared statements about "running into" kew (and his "husband"....yuk!) at ES Cannery. I have no doubt one of these guys wants to find info on this case to further dox me. He has doxed me before. I am pretty sure something about this case will hit the news very shortly, as I have been contacted by email and text by one local TV News station here in Vegas. I didn't respond to either contact. I can't provide the information they are probably seeking. I don't know if they can get their hands on video, but if they do, I am sure this will be mentioned on the local news. At this point I don't even care, even if they name me.
Just a couple final things I want to say. First, I am so pleased with my legal representation in this matter. The guy is the best. That reputation is well deserved. And I know I presented a challenge to him because of my forum presence as well as I was not willing to do what was necessary for the highest settlement, go the distance. He never pressured me on anything. He presented options and everything was always my decision. I and every other AP, table game or not is lucky to have this gentleman in our corner.
Other than that, I am pretty unhappy, even a bit angry, with every other thing involving this case, starting with that this incident even occurred. The compensation I received is NOT adequate. It was never going to be. And I am not talking about a fractured arm, I have no idea what that is worth in the personal injury law field. I am talking about illegal arrest and detention by a casino and the possible loss of income that may come from that. 7 figures would be a fair beginning. I was never going to get anything close to that. No one has ever gotten that. And the worst part is any amount through settlement or verdict award isn't even paid by the casino. It is paid by an insurance company. If you bring legal case against a casino the deck is severely stacked against you. It is like trying to play blackjack when the aces have been removed.
The only chance you have to hold them accountable is in the court of public opinion. If details or video is released and shown on the news. Maybe that creates a situation where the reputation is damaged and effects bottom line, or at least that someone has to answer for and even that is a long shot. Most active players, myself included, just aren't willing to go through that. They count on that. So they win at every freaking turn. :mad:
Bottom line: I am not the winner in this situation. Never was going to be. The deck is stacked in a way that can't happen. But at least it is over and I will move on to whatever is next.
