If that bothers you so much, then be a man about it, and don't let anyone in the elevator until you get out.
Technically, you're still a man...right, Ray?
Do you need elevator lessons or something?
Here ya go...stand in front of the door, and when it opens, step out.
Geez...stop bitching about the laces, and just kick the fucking ball.
Why are you such a cunt?
Relax and have some fun, bitch.
Anyway, I always say that the stairs are your friends.Quote:
This is a little difficult because UK and US English use elevator differently. An American elevator would usually be described as a lift in Commonwealth English, and you get in them. An elevator in UK English is a hoist which has open platforms that raise vertically - you put things on this. ( also known as a “paternoster” elevator)

I rode the elevator to the eleventh floor, and as I got out, the operator said "Have a good day, son."
"Don't call me son," I said. "You're not my dad."
He scratched his head. "No, but I brought you up, didn't I?"

How does Monet get in and out of an elevator?
At the same time. Ha.
YES!!
I've been running the stairs all week

Good jod grim!!
I'm impressed, and slightly aroused...
Ray Finkle, are you Asian? I ask because from my experience there are lots of Asians in town from Dec 23-25. And frankly, not to stereotype but rushing onto the elevator sounds like something they do.
I live in a highrise so I ride the elevator daily and when the elevator reaches the first floor or parking garage level, I have never had people rush on before those of us on exited. That just doesn't make sense. I don't know, maybe we are "experienced elevator riders". :D
Anyway, enjoy your time in Vegas. 65 degrees and sunny. :)
No, I'm far from Asian.
But I will say, probably 85% of the clientele here are.
Does that answer the question??
I'm sorry coach,
I forgot you were here.
You may leave now...
I was fairly sure that you aren't Asian, not that it matters.

The 5, and 7, are significant in that they "slide" around the 6.Quote:
"57 Varieties" was the slogan of Pittsburgh's H. J. Heinz Company. In its early days, the company wanted to advertise the great number of choices of canned and bottled foods it offered for sale. Although the company had more than 60 products in 1892, the number 57 was chosen because the number "5" was Henry John Heinz's lucky number and the number "7" was his wife's lucky number.
Hmmm.
Psychic connections?
I once killed a gopher with a stick.
Does that count???
Got me thinking about the people that spend Xmas eve and Christmas at the casinos. I won't ask about your situation, Ray Finkle, but I am remembering a number of years ago, I was walking through Bally's on Christmas eve and saw a family checking in. Mother, Father 2 kids, boy and girl, about 5 or 6, maybe 7, I would guess. In addition to their luggage, they had 2 big trash bags full of wrapped Christmas presents, so obviously were going to celebrate their Christmas at the Casino.
What I was wondering is how they explained that to the kids? They brought the presents with them, right there is view of the kids, so it wasn't "Santa" bringing the gifts. Had they just given up on the whole Santa thing in exchange for Christmas playing the slot machines? :D
Kewl.
I don't get the whole bring the kids to Vegas thing
It's just me and Lois, so...
OMG, I know, right!
Every time I fly home to Vegas, from Pa or somewhere, and am on a plane full of people with kids...especially younger kids, 4,5,6,7, I just shake my head. Where the F do these people think they are headed...disney world?
and no coach belly, it wasn't a riddle. Since they brought bags of wrapped gifts, they were celebrating Christmas. I just don't know how they would explain that to little kids.
Kewl.
Why so many Asians here now?
Based on what you assumed about the contents of those trash bags, you made disparaging remarks about the parents.
You asked for an explanation of what was going on, and I gave factual assessments and reasonable possibilities.
I find your assumption not to be fact-based, and so not as reasonable as the scenarios that I presented.
Refusing to accept any explanation beyond your own prejudice, you resorted to name-calling as a reply.
Isn't that exactly what you always complain about others doing to you?
Too often you make assertions, when you don't know what you're talking about...like you're an expert on the way things work.
Grow the fuck up already.
I don't know the exact origins, but dating back to my time in Atlantic City, even before I moved to Vegas, on the 23rd and 24th there are a lot of Asians in the casinos. It is probably just that they know all the people that celebrate Christmas are with family at that time, so it is a good time for them to hit the casinos.
Maybe the casinos have picked up on this and offer special promotions and offers to them on these days, I don't know.
During my time in Vegas, it has always been that after the Rodeo leaves town, which is the second weekend in December (Rodeo is here for 10 days over the first 2 weekends), it is the slowest time of the year. On Dec 23 and 24th the Asians take over. Christmas day, afternoon and evening, the California crowds start arriving followed by people from the Midwest and east coast the day after Christmas and it is busy all week through New Years. You can spot the Midwest crowd because they are wearing lots of Ohio state, Wisconsin, Green Bay, Chicago Rears jackets and sweatshirts. :D Just some observations from my time living here.
This little conversation exemplifies the coach belly nit-picking and trolling. I don't know why any of us bother with you.
The people I mentioned very obviously were celebrating Christmas in Las Vegas with their kids and had brought along their Christmas presents for their kids. Doesn't make them horrible people or parents, but it seems like an odd choice especially with younger kids.
Take you game playing and factual this and that and shove it up your ass, you piss ant. You are one person I won't wish a happy holiday to because you are just a flat out dick!
Nope...the family traveled to Vegas to spend Christmas with the children's grandparents (LV residents), plus aunts, uncles and cousins from out of town.
They booked the weekend at Bally's because the parents had comped rooms, and the grandparents could not accommodate everyone sleeping at their retirement residence.
Santa would visit that night, and leave (unwrapped) presents for all the young cousins under the grandparents' tree.
The wrapped presents in the trash bags were gifts for the grandparents from the family, and for a Christmas Day gift exchange among all the relatives.
No fucked up Christmas like you imagined.
No odd choices, no giving up on Santa, no young kids forced to spend Christmas in a hotel while their parents gambled.
Just a wonderful Christmas celebration with their family...grandparents, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Doesn't that sound reasonable, and much better than what you thought?
So suck it, Scrooge.
And this is what we deal with on this forum. People playing games, every minute of every day.
You are the creep that disparaged an innocent family checking into a hotel with wrapped packages on Dec 24, and insisted that they obviously were going to celebrate their Christmas at the Casino, and had given up on Santa in exchange for Christmas playing the slot machines.
That's where your mind leads.
That, and the stereotypical perversions that you contemplate whenever you become agitated.
You are fucked up in the head.
Monet doesn't worry about other people on the elevator as all by himself he hits the maximum weight number, so no one else is even allowed on.
Happy holidays anyway, you fat bastard.
The Asian thing isn't too hard to figure out. No queer rationales necessary.Quote:
According to the latest census, more than 220,000 Asian Americans live in Las Vegas today, triple the numbers from two decades ago. In fact, Asian Americans are the fastest-growing racial or ethnic group in our region.
https://knpr.org/show/knprs-state-of...outhern-nevada
For a guy so all about the numbers let me throw a few at you.
This 220,000 Asian population represents 9% of the Las Vegas metropolitan area population.
The national number is about 7%. So the Asian population in Vegas is slightly higher than the national average. I suppose almost every larger city has a slightly higher number than the national average, as Asians gravitate towards cities, with most cities even having a "Chinatown" or Asian area.
So Ok, the Asian population is less that 10%, yet on Dec 23 and 24th, they make up 90% of the casino patronage. That Mr. numbers is what we are talking about.
Sure, as usual, you lock onto some fairly indisputable singular statistic, claim the math is everything, and, next, proceed directly to "Go", whichever your own latest theory.
Where are the such other numbers to support your theory, namely, that Asians intentionally congregate, that nine of ten are Asians, or, that there are any more than usual, in the casinos this time of the year? Culturally speaking, in general, don't more Asians, especially their immigrants, gamble?
Without more such input, it was enough, to discredit your theory, to point out only that there are already a fair bunch of them in Las Vegas.
Quote:
I’m a frequent casino patron from the midwest and I’ve noticed that every time I go to the casino, no matter where I am in the country, there is a lot of asian people. Sometimes there is blackjack tables with only asian people. I’ve noticed it is also usually a lot of first generation immigrants, they don’t speak a lot of English. My question is why? Is gambling more popular in Asian cultures?

Well, not to be outdone by the infamous, but reticently aroused, Mr. Finkle, I propose the following reply to his limerick that never was (by the time of this post). After all, very likely, it was for the best with literally zero room to spare.
The first one involves i's, and l's, as 1's; d's as 6's; and, p's as 9's, all along with h's as 2's, and, n's as 7's, to form the birthday July 2, 1961. The numerals as 2, and ᘔ, may be flipped, and tipped a bit, to form the corresponding letters in this case. The anagram led to a city on the other side of Kitchener about the same distance away as the one from my earlier reply. Like warming up for a good game of darts.
The second, similarly with the digits in my old phone number in Ayton, from the end of my post at https://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sh...l=1#post152255 . With most of the s's as 5's. Furthermore, surprisingly, I had to include the only remaining other type of digit involved, from the XXXX part, which is 7, for most of the t's. The anagram led to Kitchener, itself, which, I have to say, very, very, very rarely comes up to begin with in an anagram list (from which to hone in on by adding in the digits). Even the name, Ontario, isn't overly common somewhere in such a list, but, then to have each of London, and, then, Hamilton, "pop" up. Had to switch out a bit of my own information with a bit of Mr. Finkle's in this anagram to get things to "pop" up a bit closer to home.

61 ---------------> It's great to be 61 in 2022, with upside-down ᘔ's. 2022 = (1961 + 61). Ha.
I had a rude elevator encounter 9 years ago at Caesars.
I had just driven from Harrah's Rincon to Vegas. I was unusually tired toward the end of the drive, but didn't think much of it.
I had just finished checking in, and was taking my stuff up to the room, via the elevator. I was really feeling awful by this point, and just wanted to get in bed. A late-20s looking, fairly pretty girl got in the elevator by herself, so it was just the two of us going up from the lobby.
She then tried to make small talk with me, which I really didn't feel like doing. She asked where I was from, I told her, and it turned out we lived about 10 miles from each other. I tried to be polite and slog through the brief conversation, despite feeling like absolute shit.
Her floor was reached before mine, so she got out first. As she got out, she scolded me, "Try lightening up and being a little more friendly, dude", and walked away.
WTF? It was like 2am. I'm not normally tired at that time because I stay up late, but that night I was because I wasn't feeling well. But obviously it's reasonable that another human being in the elevator at 2am would seem tired. I was not rude, nor did I act annoyed with the conversation. I just wasn't energetic enough for her liking. Maybe she was trying to flirt and was annoyed I was just giving brief responses in a tired-sounding voice? Why make that bitchy comment upon leaving? Really weird.
I got back in the room, and kept thinking about that weird encounter. However, all I really wanted to do was go to sleep. I usually like to drink something before bed, either a water or soda, but for some reason drinking anything seemed so unappealing. I didn't think much of it and went to bed.
Turned out I had the beginning of the worst stomach virus of my life. The next day I wasn't even able to walk, and I was vomiting any water I forced myself to drink. I was going to go to the hospital by the evening if I couldn't keep any liquid down, as this can kill you. By 7:30pm I was able to get some water down, so I didn't go. However, I was still dehydrated, fainted just as I left the bathroom (only time I fainted in my life), slammed on the ground, and broke 3 ribs. Took 11 weeks to heal.
All started with that fucking elevator.
So I was at the Orleans, just got into town, was staying on the 10th floor or thereabouts, and got up early, between 5 and 6 AM. I go to the elevators on my floor, hit the button, the elevator stops and the door opens. I get in with two late-20's women, hot but looking a little worn down. I immediately presume working girls. So as the elevator door closes, one asks me where I'm from. I say Tennessee. The girl says, "Tennessee? Well, welcome to Vegas, baby!" She is standing behind her friend and proceeds to wrap her arms around the other girl and starts squeezing her tits. ""She has great tits, don't you think?" she says to me. I reply, "Yes she does," and the two girls then start making out in the elevator.
We get to the main floor, the door start to open, and I try to come up with something pithy to say. Since they probably have some preconceptions regarding life in Tennessee, I say "So I take it you two are sisters?" Well, I salute the security guy, who undoubtedly thinks they are "my" girls, and one of the girls starts, "Sisters? He thinks we're sisters?" and the other girl gets what I'm doing and says, "No, no, it's a joke. He's making a Tennessee joke."
And that's my Christmas elevator story.
Merry Christmas tableplay!
Overcooked the Prime Rib a bit by 10 degrees or so.
Oversalted the broccoli.
Overcooked the potatoes a bit so they were watery.
Reminded me of instant.
Garlic Bread didn't come out like I had planned.
At least the gravy didn't have lumps.
That's home cooking though.
Edit: Gravy should never have lumps, as long as you have a blender to fix that issue.
Are you ladies still on the elevator? Now I wonder that it was Monet and Tablepooey on Redietz'. But, then, who was on Dan's? Anyway, I'm a vegetarian. Ha.

I mean that after Jesus was "rejected", mankind had to go on to make up stories to try to be other than what mankind truly was/ will be. (We tell stories to ourselves, instead of tell the truth about ourselves. For example, I suspect that MrV's "man down" casino story, about online casinos not paying off, was more about himself whether the friend was actual.) An awakening of the sort found, say, in a psychological thriller in which the hero, finally, finally discovers that he was the monster all along.
Perhaps, the one singularly true quote, from the Bible, is from John 1:11:
"He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him."
Anyway, note the distinction between a sacrifice, and, what to eat, what to kept back to eat. And, between Jesus, and, God, and whatever else. Wasn't God around before there was any "manna" of any sort? But then there had to be a beginning to things, for there to be God? So confusing. Ha, even for me.Quote:
Jesus came to all of the people of the world, as a Savior. However, during His human life, He came specifically to the people of Israel. If any culture on earth should have been able to recognize the Messiah, it ought to have been God's chosen people. Israel had been given God's Word, including many prophecies of Messiah. They had been beaten down by Rome and other powerful invaders. Israel should have been looking for the Promised One, and eager to welcome Him. God came to those He had created, for the entire world, and Jesus came as a man directly to Israel. And yet, He was rejected, hated, and eventually killed by those very people. The one group of people who should have welcomed Him were the ones who called for His death! This is part of the gospel message: that even when we claim to be seeking God's will, we tend to turn away from it in order to go our own way.

66 -------------------------> Home, as in the bookends to the episode, None of the Above. It's neat how people bring up the word, grim, at post-33, and, next, God, at post-66.
Double P.S.S. That was Redietz' idea, a while back - instead of writing P.P.S. https://vegascasinotalk.com/forum/sh...l=1#post152280 But, yes, Mr. Tablepooey, I do recall that you apprised Mr. Deech of about the same thing, a couple of years or so ago. Don't hold your breath, son.
Anyway, I was wondering about the numeral, 1855, from the year of Kitchener Collegiate and Vocational Institute. Perhaps, as in the 5's of the G.R., there is (5555 - 3700) = (7410 - 5555) = 1855. I have come to accept 741 to do with death, and, 137 to do with life, with the Reaper in between at 555... . Notice as well that 1.111... = 2*0.555... . As well, 1855 = 1*5*371 ---> 153_371, which is a central part of my theory of everything, where the same dimension has two numerical indices of a sort.
Double P.S.S. Hey, the sum of cubes of digits of 371 is 371. Same as that of 407 is 407.
Hmm. "Cadmium is a chemical element with the symbol Cd and atomic number 48. This soft, silvery-white metal is chemically similar to the two other stable metals ... ." So we have 48 = (47 + 1)---> 741, another bit of death.
(Speaking of death) my computer crashed, for a moment. Back up and running, now.
No, but, I do believe you are actually as stupid to believe yourself.
I've used P.P.S. quite a few times, but, it didn't show up in the search feature.
Maybe, it was one of my other, "deceased" pen names.
Are you sure? Ha.
To be clear, I had no problem deciphering Red's "double P.S.S." because it came back as a football play, without the P. Even had I not known that "double P.S.S." was wrong, even after being on the same page as your correction of Deech, two and a half years ago, I would have realized such after googling it. Double P.S. comes back as P.P.S., but, regardless, I wouldn't have gone with a football play, in my post a couple above, to mean P.P.S. Was only a bit more fun with Red, and the forum, to see who would, or still wouldn't, jump on it.
Secondly, I never wrote that I didn't recall which posts of mine, when and where, contained P.P.S. Only that neither came up in a search. In which case, there was no reason to hunt for these posts, which Dan, very likely, had thus not so inadvertently deleted from behind the scenes, back months (years?) inexplicably to "clean up" the old threads, especially his own. In general, the search function has little to do with recalling things.

Nope. Here's the first post above in this thread that I mentioned anything to do with PSS. I wrote "double P.S.S.", which I had already determined was a football play. I had already googled Red's version it, in a different thread, days before. I wouldn't have put a football play to mean PSS (instead of PPS) whatever that means on its own.
Context is key - you added an additional comment about wiener eaters dropping like flies after your double PSS (which would be PSSPSS). So you were clearly purposing double PSS as a post script identifier for your additional comment. Again, no amount of bullshit gobbleygook will change this.
I was going to leave this alone because I liked the joke and didn't want to bother it.
But I accidentally replied to this post instead of the other Zion one.
So might as well tell you that this one made me chuckle but the Zion one made me laugh out loud.
BIBLE LESSON FOR TODAY:
Some scholars theorize that Able sacrificed the best lamb and perhaps even the first born.
Something Pure and that was an actual sacrifice to Able.
Cain decided to go around and pick up the worst fruit.
The bruised or rotting fruit.
Fruit that he wouldn't use and therefore God found his sacrifice unworthy, but God gave him a way out or a way of redemption.
Another theory is that God requires a blood sacrifice, but I tend to believe that the problem was what I listed above as the two differences.
Of course, we find out later, down the road, that Obedience is far greater than Sacrifice.
God wants us to listen, he doesn't need our sacrifice as he owns and requires it all.
100% not 10%.

In Vegas they have these advertisements all over the city now that read: Get the Facts and then Get the Vax lol.
In other places like Massachusetts, they have a similar saying/ad campaign: Trust the Facts, Get the Vax.
I guess it has been ongoing for about a year now, but I just recently seen this pop up in Vegas.
Anyways, talk about your all-time constant propaganda push.
Reminds of the bullshit I would see for years where they had the red eye and told you: See Something, Say Something.
Bunch of Nazi Propaganda of how you should spy and rat on your neighbors.
Why even bother getting the facts if you are just going to get the vax anyway?
Nice people of color advertisement.
I find it funny that you can't say "colored people" but saying "people of color" is acceptable and encouraged.
I stole that statement/question from Kurp and Jimmy Dore.
It always comes down to inconsistency and an imbalance of power across our society and world. You will never make sense of anything because there are too many lies and liars no matter what you believe. 6 media companies controlling it all, 3 million people controlling 327 million people, government for sale to the highest bidders when the money just is magically invented in the first place, language allowed controlled by the corporations, everyone is lucky they don't make us eat our own shit but of course they do in ways we cannot believe. Oh well, ignorance is bliss.
The entire thread is yet another elevator story, but within a broader one, say, a gambler's Tower of Babel.

Double P.S.S. Thanks for that Mickey, you were right on cue. I always wanted to put this post at spot-69. Goes with the 72. Ha. That was funny about lighting up in an elevator!
Don't get me started on all the different theories about the Tower of Babel.
One interesting theory is that the top of said tower had the ability for interdimensional transport.
Supposedly, they were working on a way to enter into heaven.
Not unlike the story of Job whereas Lucifer entered back into Gods Throne by walking to and fro.
I'm unsure of how Lucifer was able to withstand the Holy of Holies after being cast out.
But it appears that they had a conversation and sort of made a wager and it even appears that God was boasting about his servant Job.
I'm guessing that God knew what Lucifer was up to and God set him up for failure, but that is pure speculation on my part.
Of course, you won't be reading this post as you are taking a break.

I fixed the errors in your grammar.
You are welcome.
What you should do is start a thread so that we can gamble on what active forum member will croak next.
We could all escrow our bets with the trusted Dan Druff and perhaps you could create odds since some of us are more at risk than others.
I'm looking forward to making the first bet!
You must have my posts on notification lol.
You only gave us part of the scripture.
You left out the best and most important part.
That's the problem when people only quote a verse or two.
They completely lose the meaning and context.
Here, let me help you.
You really need to read and understand the whole chapter but at least read verse 10 thru 14 because if you only read verse 11 you will get distorted.
I mean you can't just pick out verse 11 without reading verse 12!
And you have to back that up with verse 13... come on Reaper... you should know this!
You really need to read each chapter, in its entirety, to get context.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Monet,
I don't know if this is the video, but Campbell is one of the very, very few who has quoted from the German studies that establish vaccination as causal in most of the sudden cardiac deaths in Germany. Those studies came out maybe two months ago, and they are as reputable as one could get, but they are getting zero air time on U.S. news channels.
Yes, it appears that this important and vital information is being subdued.
But you know, the Democrats and Republicans care about us.
In your case, the Democrats moreso.
According to your skewed statistics more college students are democrat.
But you fail to acknowledge that the Democrats have captured the entire Educational System inside of America.
And they completely control most forms of media and social media.
Expect the next generation or two to be completely Far Left Liberal Democrats as they are being indoctrinated in grade school and radicalized in college.
Of course, MIT has stated that the world will collapse by the year 2040 and others state it will collapse by the year 2030 so who cares anymore?

Initially, his videos received some praise, but later veered into misinformation, such as the suggestion that deaths from COVID-19 have been over-counted, repeated false claims about the use of the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin as a COVID-19 treatment, and misleading commentary about vaccine safety. His videos have been viewed more than 550 million times.

Which, with four 1's this time, contains Kitchener, as in Kitchener-Waterloo.Quote:
The Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada has a mixed style of buildings originally located in small towns and farming communities starting from the 19th century. After 1900, commercial and industrial buildings also appeared.
Yes, Monet, sometimes it's okay to add in the rest, later on.
Quote:
Genesis 1:1-11
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
4. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.
5. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
6. And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”
7. So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
9. And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” And it was so.
10. God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” And God saw that it was good.
11. Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.

73 ---------------> 37 = (10*3 + 7) ---> 137, as in one of two most basic numerals of creation. The other being 197 = [1][3^2][7] ---> 137.
Ah, spot-78. 78 = (79 - 1) ---> 791, or 197 ---> 137. Well, imagine my surprise to find Jbjb in spot-77. Ha.
Right but that's not what you did.
You took out one verse trying to say that nobody accepted Jesus, even his own people.
But right in the next verse it tells you of all the people who did accept him and what happens when they do.
Seems odd that you would leave that vital information out when bringing up the topic that Jesus was rejected.
I actually almost got into a fight with someone mad I was rushing into the elevator last year. I told him to fuck off and his girlfriend had to pull him away. Really what do I care when elevator doors open, if I'm preoccupied I'm going to be standing by the elevator doors trying to get on the elevator as soon as possible. I feel like the person getting off the elevator is the only one who knows they're on the elevator. It's not that big of a sin if someone acts polite once they know someone else is there, but if you mouth off to me in an impolite tone, you're going to have to hear it coming back.
