UNKewLyingJ has an unfair advantage in this poll because just yesterday he laid down another whopper about how his fictional Brittle Bones story actually had already run on the news (twice, with video even). How ya gonna compete with that? it’s like he knew the poll was coming and put the fix in.
All this is poll, like the entire forum is, is a group of members, like a high school clique that don't like someone and take every opportunity to troll that person. You guys have called me everything from a male prostitute to homeless, living in the tunnels. How freaking mature!
I have shared my experiences as a mid-level card counter for 15 years. Nothing I have shared defies anything. Not the math involved. Not the way things actually work.
-- No magical million+ jackpots on a machine that the casino rolled in just for me and placed in the storage area.
-- No double-up bug story stolen from the news.
-- No pictures in a million dollar RV at the dealership claiming it was mine.
-- No $100-$5000 spreads playing double deck blackjack for 10 straight hours on the strip.
-- No thousands of nights comped in high end suites, while claiming wins of millions of dollars.
-- No 60 straight winning blackjack hands (although I did have a pretty amazing shoe 13 years ago in which won most of the hands when the count was positive and my max bet was out).
I have shared winning and losing (long periods). Years that were far below expectation. I have shared backoffs, and my one (to date) trespass. And explained what I do to minimize these situations.
And yes, I lied about the lawsuit part of a trespass/backroom incident last year to try to protect myself and personal info from getting out. That is ALL, you 3rd graders have on me. Sometimes AP's that share some of their experiences have to change details. And sometimes, if we have revealed to much, we might have to lie.
But that isn't even what this is about, or has been about for a couple years now. It is about a clique of mostly older dudes, bashing and attacking someone they don't like. You guys have found a forum and a forum owner/administrator that allows that. Big deal.

Speaking of these 3, I see similarities. My belief is each one is telling many truths, while at the same time, selling a big lie. However I do think they all may have made some money gambling, but to a lesser degree than claimed. Their big selling points are:
- Singer very much wants us to believe he’s made millions with VP.
- kewl very much wants us to believe he makes a living primarily counting cards.
- MDawg very much wants us to believe he’s extremely wealthy.
My bet is all 3 are not true.
My best guess is that (depending on one's definition of "extremely") the third is actually true. A hefty correlation between Shackleford's bending over (backwards or not) and MDawg's material resources seems likely.Quote:

These things are proof. But when you say to someone, yeah, everything you have claimed makes sense and nothing defies anything, but I don't believe you because I don't like you. That is NOT proof. And this hasn't just happened with me. The same AccountinQuestion that demands that I leave this forum because no one likes me did the same thing with redietz. He said he found him arrogant as justification for his attacks. MaxPen did the same with mickeycrimm for a number of years. Calling mickey a drunk, hobo and gay slurs because he didn't like an opinion mickey had.
I am not here to make friends. That never was important to me. It is a gambling forum or supposed to be and I have shared some of my experiences as a mid-level card counter living and playing Vegas for over a decade. MrV, Rob is the loony grandfather/father living in the attic (off his daughter). But he is NOT my father or grandfather and I don't have to tolerate him. I can call him what he is, because there is actual proof of it.
Both Rob and Mdawg (Mdawg stole this from Rob) have this idea that if they can attack anyone questioning their dis-proven claims that it somehow makes them and their claims more credible. It is a combination troll-psychopath mentality.
There have been plenty of people that have questioned me or something I have said and I never jump in attacking them or their family. Eventually I may return attacks but only after they have continued to attack me like this. It is never my first response. Even with people that have already shown it is about something else, I will try to explain anything that I might not have explained well, knowing they don't want to hear anything except what they have already predetermined. Blackhole was the perfect example. I also did this with Alan many times.
People have a right to question things. But when someone legitimately questions something, if all you can respond with is attacks about them and their families, then there is something else going on isn't there? Their response of attacking like that basically tells all.
That Singer and Mdawg are so tolerated here and Mdawg at WoV is very perplexing to me. Any real player and real AP that works at winning, should be offended when some ying-yang comes along claiming to win with "special (less optimal) plays". and machines telepathing hot and cold cycles. Or that he wins millions by "betting into hot streaks", or because he is Rainman. These ridiculous claims aren't tolerated from EvenBob when he claims to win 80% of roulette spins, why are they tolerated and laughed off with these guys?
I work hard at what I do. I accept the risks and experience extreme variance. I have long losing periods. I have backoffs and in the last couple years a trespass incident and several database entry issues. I work hard at it and am constantly exploring and implementing new ways to achieve longevity. And YES it does burn me when these guys come along talking about winning millions of dollars using magic potions, machines talking to them and $100-$5000 spreads, saying the casinos don't care. The casinos DO care and you have to work to win money from them.

His blackjack play was basically breakeven and very tolerated. And he received a ton of comps, including shopping sprees, trips, tickets to events that he would then turn around and sell. THAT is where he made a living off of.
This was a different time though, when things like tickets were transferable and casinos actually comped something for blackjack play. Now adays casinos comp very, very little for blackjack play, which is just a whole other aspect of the Mdawg "story" that doesn't work.
It isn't jealousy AinQ. I am so very anti-casino that I am legitimately happy for anyone that wins money at the casino. Even some lifetime loser that feeds a few bucks into a progressive machine and walks away with a big lottery-like win.Quote:

One final thing about this case, that I don't know if I am even allowed to voice my opinion about. I was not thrilled with the outcome of this case. Yes I received a settlement worth several years of my average earnings. That was nice. :) But that settlement was more or less like a personal injury type settlement. And that is not what I wanted this case to be about. I wanted the casino and casino personnel held responsible for happened on the casino floor as much as what happened in the backroom. I wanted it to be about the illegal detention and illegal arrest (because that is what it was), so other casinos would stop doing this kind of shit. But it became clear for that to come about I would have needed to go the distance and give up my identity.
And one of the selling points to me to settle for what I could get, was that the NGC, would probably take a look at this incident and issue their own penalty or fine to the casino.....an extra punitive type thing. Now almost a year after the initial incident and 6 months after the settlement, I see no evidence of that type of thing occurring. But then again, the NGC has never really been on the side of the players have they?
I'm busy right now. But I will put my hip waders on for all this bullshit and be back later....lol

What I find really sad isn't that people don't like me. I am fine with that. It also isn't that so many people are homophobic and filled with hate of almost anybody different than them in any way. Where are these APs? not one of them has spoken a word about this still?
Again, Huh? No lawsuit, and his name got out, how? His email got out? How? His phone number got out? How?
The problem is, for UNKewlJ, the internet IS his entire universe. He lives a concocted life online only – there is nothing more for him. So, he thinks in terms of that the whole world too lives online, which is why it would be “so easy” for news reporters to find his posted story and then work from there to find his email and email him. (Ah but, don’t forget, this all happened LONG AGO anyway, “because he’s too smart to let anyone know what is REALLY going on” so how did these reporters get wind of anything that happened and find his email online – before he had even posted about it online?)
You could spend all day finding conflicts and lies in all of UNKewlJ’s fables.

Soxfan claims he played on a team utilizing the call in approach, but then he talks about 2 players playing the same table counting and raising and lowering bets in unison. THAT is not the BP call in approach. The whole purpose of the call in approach was to avoid that scenario.
But anyway, I didn't realize Soxfan's claim to blackjack team play was 35 years ago. Even if true, it is an entirely different world, including card counting than it was 35 years ago. If he did fine, but again, I just have seen nothing from the man that even hints he has any real blackjack knowledge. And quite a few voodoo comments that would indicate he doesn't. Hey hey.
Some of the good BJ teams had players and managers that were associated with the teams for long periods, decades (think Tommy Hyland's teams). But there were other teams that popped up that those who ran the team considered the players disposable. Player could make some money for 6 months and once they were busted and databased (or blackbooked at the time) the team would just move on to another group of disposable players. One of the teams I was recruited for early in my career, felt like that second situation to me.

Team leaders or backers who think players are disposable and burn them out in 6 months are not profitable or what I consider successful. That reputation will result in a team that will eventually not have anyone willing to join. Again everything you post about team play is just what you have read on the internet, or seen in a movie. I doubt anyone has ever recruited you to do anything in a casino. You literally spend a 1000 hours a year posting online. That’s Not a trait a good team leader is looking for I can assure you.Quote:

Additionally, he sees his gargantuan forum posting life as a positive for other AP's. Gee-willickeys....he gets to share his invaluable experiences with other like-minded bj players, which is the cat's meow when it comes to team recruiters.
Also, this guy would be an asset to anyone who plays at any of the MGM properties. He already knows the top execs there, and has access-on-demand to any of their players' records.
