Volunteering for MDawg

Now that the college football season is winding down, and my favorite whackjob is president, I'll have some time to help out the great debaters at VCT.

Not sure I have substantive credentials, but here we go. I wrote about and debunked sports handicappers who claimed fanciful records, and I did this for decades. I wrote letters to USA Today, had some articles published here and there regarding the topic. Was asked to report on a particular publication which was, at the time, serving as a front while publishing, in a slick magazine format, completely fictional records of a couple of companies embedded in truthful reporting about others. I have been interviewed by reporters and have given my rundowns of sports handicapping gimmicks and cheating.

I was also recruited by the Society for the Scientific Documentation of Paranormal Experiments back in the 80's. The Society only existed for a couple of years, but I was assigned to investigate in a particular geographic area while also commenting on others' investigations. The SSDPE was started as a kinder, gentler, more allegedly objective version of CSICOP. Evidently the couple of things I had published regarding investigating the paranormal were enough for them to recruit me.

I would be willing to put in the time and thought to monitor MDawg while he plays and interview him regarding what he does. I would suggest a couple of time brackets with, say, 20 hours of play in a week's time in each bracket.

My lack of actual magician's skills is a drawback, as is my lack of a doctorate in statistics, but I actually have access to both a professional magician and a magic afficionado who could guide me through the process and I have access to people who taught college statistics, so although I lack the necessary knowledge and skills, I can consult them and bring them in if they could do so.

I'd recommend two separate testing time frames. One could be in December this year, somewhere between the 10th and 20th to take advantage of LV cheapness. The other could be a non-holiday time frame of MDawg's choosing. I would endeavor to film part of the sessions if I can get the casinos' permission, which might take some work.

I'm no James Randi, but I would do my best, and my membership in the SSDPE was reasonable evidence that I'm an objective investigator with no irons in the fire.

Anyway, mull it over and get back to me.

Not sure how many sessions fit into 20 or 40 hours of play but go ahead and volunteer to be part of the project, coach. I trust you to be an accurate observer and reporter. It's not like I'm trying to hog MDawg for myself.

P.S. In case anyone is wondering, and they probably are not, I replied during the NFL games because I have a real slow Sunday. Won the first half of a teaser with Ravens/Steelers Under and don't have anything else until Monday night (Houston/Dallas Over), so today is a little slow. Watching 2024 NFL is, as Tom Brady has hinted, not the most exciting or mesmerizing endeavor on the planet.

Estimate it...divide 20 hours by the time it took to complete the initial challenge.

If it's 40 hours total, then multiply your initial estimate by 2.

You must feel like you're back in Chamberpot, PA taking the PSATs again.

But next month is too short notice...I'm all booked up now through end of 2024.

2025 might work, I usually come out for St Pats in March, and one of the music festivals in April/May.

I just saw Ray's post. I think I need to bracket the week prior, mainly because if the Vols make the playoff, I gotta do my thing. Playoffs start the 20th, which is why I'd scout everything the week prior. But if I can't do that bracket and MDawg can, I have no qualms about you guys handling it.

Will be in Vegas for F1. But, have to leave for some business after a couple weeks and then back again haven't decided exactly when.

So we're talking about tabulating results from sessions?

I think that 20 hr/session is far too small the sampled size to determine if a cat got a viable style, or not. It is though a simple matter to determine if a cat got the actual photographic memories. I previous proposed the challenge to the kewl-J offer 5ks if he could demonstrate his supposed ability to count, accurate multiple 21 table at the same times. Of course, he squeal like the little bitch and run away from the challenge with his tail between the leg, hey hey.

As far as I know, the Wizard verified session was a couple hours longer than anyone in the history of these forums has ever allowed himself to be witnessed before.

The wizard verified session of Mdawgs play means nothing without Wizard being permitted to say what he witnessed.

There is no one that though it impossible that Mdawg register a small winning session. Losing players do so 4-5, maybe even 6-7 times out of 10. Now if Wizard were allowed to say what he saw, and it is still not to late, that would mean something. Just think if Wizard had said, "yes, I saw Mdawg play and know what he is doing and it could result in a long term winning or +Ev results". But THAT wasn't what Wizard was going to say. It isn't what he has said privately. So Mdawg had him sign an agreement not to say. So means nothing. It means about as much as Mdawg spreading some cash and chips out on a bed saying he won them.

Now I proposed a version of what redietz is now proposing 5 years ago. Not sure if it was here or at WoV that I proposed it. At that time Mdawg was claiming he won everyday or almost everyday (over 90% of days). So I proposed that I could provide a witness that would follow Mdawg for a month, documenting every session and we would just see if it came close to matching what Mdawg claimed in both winning every session and winning overall. Mdawg wanted no part of it. I wonder why? :confused:

Look, Mdawg started out pretending to be this upscale winning gambler. he used the trick from common youtube scammers of spreading money and chips around, which is supposed to prove you won that cash and chips, when it proves no such thing. And now in recent months and years, Mdawg has revealed himself to be nothing but an internet troll type, stating and repeating (100 times) multiple lies about everyone that knows better than to believe his silly story. Mdawg is no more a winning player than Singer owned a Newell RV.

I also said very early on that this Mdawg thing, was absolutely no different than the youtube scams. Dan Druff and others pushed back that it was different because he wasn't soliciting money. Ok, fine, it wasn't about money for Mdawg, but it was about people believing his silly gambling claims that defy math and the way Las Vegas works and that makes it almost the same as those youtube scams. And he has used the playbook from those scammers and from Singer's trolling to try to reach that end.

Look, it is this simple. If you are going to make claims of winning, have the math work. No magical potions, or "special plays", or machines talking to you, or rainman abilities. Have something mathematically that you are doing to gain an advantage that you can show.

And second, don't have your story defy the way Las Vegas and the casino industry works. Don't have things like winning every day and bet spreads for hours that no casino would ever allow, and pit folks patting you on the back saying how great you are. This stuff is all fantasy or fiction or whatever word you want to use.

AP's win longterm by finding something mathematical that gives them an edge and then doing everything in their power to be able to keep playing when the casinos want and try to stop you. Everything else is just a retelling of Jack and the beanstalk or some other fairy tale.

I am not interested in trying to win any specific session for show...for proof of something that it really isn't proof of. I am an advantage player. I win long-term. With all the real things that long-term advantage play involves, like plenty of losing sessions/days along the way and casino heat. I share these things and how I deal with them (or used to share). Where are these elements in Mdawgs fairytale? That is how you know it is bullshit.

Now if I or anyone wanted to show a winning session on demand (which again proves nothing), they could give themselves the best opportunity to do so playing some martingale type progression system. And THAT is almost assuredly what Mdawg did. But Wizard isn't allowed to say so publicly.

But regardless, that small winning session proves nothing about any longterm wins that Mdawg claims.

It would be like looking at election results from dixie notch NH at 12:10 am election night and thinking that proves who will win. Small sample size means NOTHING.

Of course if you are just playing games as you are, I guess it doesn't matter. You play your games.

I doubt you will answer without your trolling and craziness, but let me ask anyway: If someone, Mdawg or anyone else has such a memory that would allow them an advantage and to win, without the casino being able to figure out what they were doing, do you think the casino would do nothing? Just allow them to win day after day?

I am not going to wait for your answer. The answer is no. they would still employ countermeasures including backoffs and barings, just the same as if they knew what the player was doing.

And by the way, the memory nonsense is about the 5rth explanation Mdawg has come up with as to how he has won over the years. Some of the others were things like "betting into hot streak", Loss rebates, which of course he claims he never loses, and a few other voodoo type things.

Mdawgs story and claims....just isn't real. Absolutely NO aspect is the way things work in the real world or the way the math works. It is a guy writing a story. Always has been.

The Wizard specifically wrote that there was no martingale type progression. Check the record. Your assertion that Wizard saw that and cannot say so is complete, unsubstantiated, fabricated bullshit.

You are big on receipts are you? By that token Singer showed a receipt or bill of sale for a 1.6 million dollar RV. Remember? generically printed from the internet with 3 different signatures in the same handwriting. That no more proved Singer bought and owned an Rv than what Mdawg shows.

Incorrect. I thought with your photographic memory, coach, you'd have the details correct.

I required verifying directly with Singer's wife on the phone or via a zoom call that she would be in attendance. That was it.

I haven't read all the responses, but certainly we have an enthusiastic crowd. Will try to catch up mid-week. I have a game tonight and am backlogged on stats analysis a week since one stat source was down last week.

You can root for, let me check what I have, Over 34 tonight. Don't think it'll be easy with the backup Dallas QB, but that's why it's a bit of a bargain.

REDietz seems to be proposing filming, and bringing in outsiders to help him analyze numbers. If I am going to blow anonymity I'd do that for some kind of heavily paid streaming service, as I mentioned in the second post of this thread, not for something unpaid like this.

However, with the proper assurances of anonymity, I might be willing to deal with REDietz alone on this. REDietz won't mind if a member or members of my entourage are there as well, I can trust all of them. As mentioned, will be in Vegas shortly for at least two weeks.

I am sure you won't answer and will only troll, but what do you need anonymity for? You claim you are not an AP. You don't hide from the casinos, but rather play rated and get every comp dollar and point due you by playing rated. You even claim the casino personnel know and love you. So what is the anonymity about?

The only people you appear to be hiding from and want anonymity from are members of the different forums, NOT the casinos (like real AP do). I am quite sure that is because without anonymity anyone on any forum could look into you and see you are not the winning player you claim.

BUT, I am willing to hear your explanation as to why you need anonymity. Maybe there is something I am missing.

I'd want an NDA signed with a liquidated damages clause as to protecting my identity (and yours too, if you like), but obviously you will be free to post the results publicly, after you pay me for the wager.

But keep in mind before you decide on how much you're willing to lose that the WIN statements I posted were not pieces of paper, they were actual live video of me logged into my player accounts, navigating pages.

I'll leave this offer, like the UNKewl one he declined, on the table for 24 hours too. Let me know.

So is this proposal by Red of witnessing and possibly filming 20-40 sessions of Mdawgs play now dead?

I assume Red is coming to town just after the Rodeo leaves which I think is Dec 14. That is the slow and least expensive period in Vegas every year. Can't we make this happen?

Soxfan opined that 20-40 session is not enough to show anything definitively. And he is right. That is too small a sample size to really prove anything. But I think we would see that he isn't winning 90% of his sessions like he has claimed for 5 years, unless he is playing a progressive system which could result in a lot of wins, but still not long-term winnings.

Will Redeitz be forced to sign a NDA, so he can't say if Mdawg plays a progression?

My guess is it will never happen, although I hope it does. Usually what happens is the party (mdawg) will make some demand involving a wager or payment, that he knows won't/can't be met, insuring it never happens.

But if I am to be honest, I think you highly fudge on some of your stories, and I don't know why. It's beyond leaving things out or adding things to protect yourself. For example, there's no way that I believe that you got tens of thousands of dollars worth of sports bonuses with only a 5 times rollover. There's only one way I think that could be remotely possible, and that would be a stretch for it to only be five times, and if that's how you're doing it, you probably owe me some kickback. I take Bitcoin, hopefully it won't cost you $400 in overdraft fees.

You are misrepresenting the rollover. One of the 4 sportsbooks I used last September when I started the bonus chasing was 4x rollover. That was a book that I had used for years recreational betting and lost a good chunk of money as a recreational bettor. So I had a track record with them as a losing player and my "host" gave me a good rollover.

2 of the other 3 the rollover was 8 times I believe. So if you averaged them all together it might have been 6 times or so. I forget exact numbers. But a good low number that I could make money off of and did.

BUT the important part is that years of playing and losing at the one book is what lead to me getting a very good low rollover. I honestly don't know why you have such a hard time with that.

Now one of the original 4 books I used last year cut me off before the football season this year. When I say cut me off, they no longer offered me a decent bonus and rollover. So I replaced that book with 2 new ones for this football season. And now in the last couple weeks a second has stopped offering me the really good bonus and rollover. So I am wearing out my welcome.

If I am going to continue beyond this year, and I think I want to because the money is so good, I am going to have to find many more books, offering at least decent numbers and that I can trust to pay. And that is part of my problem. I haven't been at this long enough to know which ones I can trust (good reputations) and which to avoid.

Unfortunately, people can be bought and or fooled. Whenever something like this is going on you need a proper skeptic looking for all the angles and someone who can spot possible shenanigans. You wouldn't need 20 to 40 sessions. Mdog claims to have a photographic memory, he gave an example of what he could do with a shoe of cards. That would be very simple and easy to prove or disprove. If he is lying about having that ability, then you wouldn't need to go any further.

Here is the problem with the photographic memory claim. It was about his 4th or explanation for how/why he is able to win. he went through everything from loss rebates (despite that he never loses) to "betting into hot streaks" to several other mostly voodoo explanations and finally hit on that he is rainman. :D

Now lets just suppose he is rainman, and can win at will and the casinos couldn't figure out how he was doings so. As a very experienced AP/casino player, you know damn well, they still would not just allow him to win everyday taking millions which is what he has claimed. I have seen casinos kick people out when they absolutely were just getting lucky for a short time. They are just not going to allow this guy or anyone else to take the kind of money he claims while saying "well we just don't know how he is doing it". AND, he claims to play rated, so they would absolutely know exactly what he has won.

The fact of the matter is that if you replace Mdawgs claim of all the winning, and the story becomes he is a higher limit player, winning and losing, but losing more than he wins (which is how normal gambling works), then everything else about his claims suddenly work. All the comps, the casinos and personal "loving" and encouraging him. It all falls into place just how the casinos work. It is all the winning that is bullshit. And I know because I saw his actual w/l for one year and it was in the red when he claimed he won millions.

I'm not going to go back and look at everything. I know that you put up the numbers, Mickey chimed in with some math and I calculated what that would turn out to be in terms of rollover. I don't remember exactly how much it was 5.4 or some shit like that. If someone wants to direct me to those specific posts I'll go back and relook. I already posted why I had an issue with this. You said you didn't bet much, lose much over the years and it was just a little entertainment thing that you did. I can understand if you got maybe $1,000 with a four times roll.
