Hit a hand pay for $1200.00 on my go to game, Double 3x4x5x Pay; paid $300.00 to Uncle Sam for estimated taxes.

I'd planned to bet big, to take a lot of shots, and that is what I did.

The hand pay came on a $20.00 bet.

Emboldened, I poured on the coal, regularly beting $5.00, $10.00, $20.00 and $40.00 per spin; must have Bet $40.00 over a dozen times, with only one good hit for $800.00 on another machine there, a Double Diamond.

Predictably I pissed away my winnings, and finished up at CW only barey ahead.

Stopped at Spirit Mtn. on the way home, won about $250.00 at Double Diamond.

Finished down $385.00 for the day; enjoyed it quite a bit, even though I lost, as I got to take numerous deep shots at the brass ring.

Maybe some day ...
You taking home $900 on a $1200 win reminds me of someone who said that he was MAD that he won $1200 when what he REALLY wanted was to win $1100. A Newbie Gambler asked him WHY he wanted to win $100 less. He explained to the Newbie Gambler that $1200 would mean a $300 tax cut, whereas $1100 would have NO taxes taken out, so he actually would keep $200 more than with a $1200 "Win,". The Newbie Gambler saw the light....
