I pointed out that particular persons as a group "rejected" Jesus by crucifying Him. Not to contradict the next bit, about what happens to particular persons who "accepted" Him. It's just that God sees each person in each and every role, even though they can not realize how every thing is thus connected. The only person who has only one role, over and over again, who is what he says, does, is the one who "discovers" this. All other discoveries, or not, are made, or not, by each of us, at some point in time beyond our understanding of time, itself. And, regardless of no contradiction, anyway, no one stood up for Jesus when and where it truly mattered.
