Free rooms are easiest to believe-and seem to be the main drawing card. I tried another casino- didn't like it- and got offers even when I just came to play off my freeplay- about a 5 minute visit. Marguarittaville still sends weekly offers even though they dropped me a level for decreased play- still think they are managed by something akin to an Indian casino. Strangely, Horseshoe has lowered it's offers- but that's where the machines, atmosphere, and cleanliness are best. I'm only 40 minutes away, so these room offers mean nothing- especially with few playing hours.
Well, after posting I looked up some info and it appears Marguarittaville HAS been sold to an Alabama tribe. The difference in machines is so obvious, it's a wonder ANYONE plays.

C'mon, Sling, Singer's system works on any machine. The payscale don't matter.

As a matter of fact, I have had better luck at 1,2,and 5 credits with the single play strategy on quarters. That's a total of 1200 credits. The wins are small but better than losing.
