He told me ,"No problem," and hung up.

I soon got a call from somebody else claiming he was my LYFT driver and was here to pick me up. I told him that I already cancelled my LYFT as I was already almost at my Destination. and spoke to my LYFT driver about it. He told me he hadn't spoken to me at all before this call. I told him that my LYFT Driver that showed up on my LYFT App was named Michael. He told me his name was Thomas. We went back and forth and he in a huff said he was charging me for the ride(About $7) and was very rude about it. Nasty even. What a Prick. . It wasn't my fault that LYFT gave me the wrong driver on my LYFT app. He should have understood that I was given the WRONG driver on my App. I should have complained to LYFT for giving me the wrong driver on my App. I should have reported the Correct Driver for being a rude, Nasty Prick.

I soon thought,"Oh well, I'll make up that $7 charge for the ride I never took at The Casino. It sounded like the Casino Staff Member who answered the phone said they would be OPEN UNTIL April 1st. I went to the Casino, and was baffled when the doors were LOCKED. I called The Casino to complain that I was told the Casino wpuld be OPEN UNTIL April 1st, but I am here and the doors were LOCKED. The Casino Staff Member who answered the phone said,"No, we're CLOSED UNTIL April 1st, and now we think we'll be closed even longer than that." Oh shit. I was out the $7 from that failed LYFT thing and I made the mistake of going to a CLOSED Casino. Double mistakes....
Imagine that, the person that everyone admits is Mentally challenged at best, and probably retarted based on IQ, is the only person left in America that didn’t know casinos are closed. So the person who posts under multiple names still on forums doesn’t follow the news or visit a website for a casino.

Just another made up story from a chronic liar looking for attention.

You are the reason why books will be written in a few years on how much of this stimulus money was a waste.
You DO realize a lot of Casinos held out on closing longer than other Casinos right? For instance, the Indian Casinos were open longer than than the non Indian Casinos. I THOUGHT the Casino I was talking about was one of the "Stay open longer Casinos," especially since I asked on the phone,"How long are you open until?" The response was, ."Until April 1st." Anyone in my shoes who was given that response would have assumed they were open until April 1st. Especially since many Casinos stayed open longer than other Casinos.

At least she is admitting that she was wrong. Regnis is still sticking to his absurd claim that CTRs are filed where there is no cash involved, and Axel is deflating and not even addressing that he asked a guy who claimed to win a million at blackjack for proof of his CTR.

So, what's worse? to make a mistake and concede it, or to present something wrong and refuse to back down from it?

You can see here that MDawg is not backing down from his wrongful claim. Dude is just a troll.

Back to the topic. My biggest mistakes in gambling have been not playing an advantage play I probably should have, or not playing it as aggressively as I could have. Oftentimes, that's due to trying to preserve the play, not be noticed, or I'm worried the casino won't honor the promotion after the fact. There's a been some promotions where you just can't imagine the casino is going to let you get away with playing a certain way for very long, so you don't prepare and bring enough people. The next thing you know... they actually are letting you get away with it for a significant amount of time. That leaves you thinking... f***, if I would have only wet ham I would have crushed it even more.

There's been occasions where I just didn't think the risk was worth the reward, especially, when there's a unknown aspects and you got a travel a long way with a short notice.
Sometimes it's a balancing act trying to figure out how much you can actually get away with without being kicked out.

My biggest mistake at WOV, other than joining WOV in the first place , was thinking (when I first posted this pic about a year ago) that this picture I took twenty years ago was taken from my suite at the Bellagio, when actually, it was taken from my suite at the Venetian.

This was when Caesar's caught on fire, as I recall, in 2001.

I... Days before the Casinos temporarily closed, I was playing a "Play to earn Bingo Cards," each card was $125 coin in, and the Maximum was 5 cards so $625 coin in. I scratched so hard to get all of the 5 bingo cards and even earned an extra two points(an extra $10 coin in). I lost big time. I lost my Bankroll and lost my chance at $1,000 when another Player got all of the bingo numbers. Shit! I only had like 2 NUMBERS left! I would have made a $275 profit had I won! I thought,"At least I have about $50 left in guaranteed in free play this month from this Casino and about $ 34 at my other Local Casino so $84 in free play for this month, so it's not all that bad! " The Casinos closed a few days later after my stupid trip where I played $635 coin in chasing a $1,000 chance game and still lost. I knew I fucked up badly when I realized I was out even my guaranteed free play money as well. :/

Bumping this old thread because of all the valuable takes from it involving Tasha.

    Note:

Features her socks talking to each other

Same type nonsense she has started threads about over and over

Her stupidity on display not knowing casinos were closed early during Covid. Yes Florida was one if the last places in the country going on lockdown on St Patrick’s Day. But almost everything was then closed and no one could reasonably think casinos were open.

A few other interesting comments on display from her.

Fascinating how many losing gamblers parading around here wanting to be seen as a winner. Whether Tasha or Singer or a few others. I suspect even redietz may not have been a winning gambler at this point. Same shit just always different angles.

Why is that? Because you thought you could bullshit a bunch of real players, many of them APs with your bullshit stories? Yeah that didn't work out too well did it.

We can laugh at Tasha for some of her gambling antics, like playing both sides of games (or betting events)....even in parlays. How ridiculous. BUT, at least Tasha is posting actual gambling experiences, as opposed to a guy that posts pictures of a jackpot win from a computer in the storage area of his daughter's house, or the guy that posts of winning every day, millions and millions of dollars, playing rated at table games, so the casinos know exactly how he is doing, and claiming no heat and on the contrary that casinos love him for it.

This forum is supposed to be exactly what Tasha is doing....posting REAL gambling experiences, and not necessarily advantage play experiences. It just so happens many here are or were advantage players.

As for Red, I still believe Red made a living betting sports, including playing contests and stuff for decades from the 1980s through 2000 and something. How good of a living remains to be seen. He lives in a very modest little house in East Bubble Fuck Tennessee, that he can't seem to pay his taxes on time. That doesn't scream successful sports better. But whatever. I think I have read Buffet (Warren, not Jimmy ) lives in a very modest house.

The big problem with Red is his not only refusing to accept that in this day and age there are players, advantage players that can find an advantage doing things in sports. He seems offended by that. Like it is his territory or something. I mean imagine if I, a card counter for 20+ years got upset and offended by players doing other things with blackjack like hole-carding, or ace sequencing or what not. Red's reaction has been ridiculous. Like "how dare you APs do something with sports betting". And that is just weird.

And in keeping with the subject of this 6 year old bumped thread, biggest mistake, my biggest mistake was attempting to play Reno periodically. While 80% of my BJ play takes place in Vegas, where I have learned how to play, what I can and can't get away with and what is tolerated and how to handle it when my play draws extraordinary heat and counter-measures, I have always taken several trips to other areas each year to give a break. But the problem with that is if you don't play a place regularly, you don't know exactly when you are crossing a line as far as comfort level until there are consequences.

I have had problems on some of my Pa trips. And you think no big deal, because it is out of town, but often those issues follow you home in the form of database entries. But RENO...my God. Playing that dumpy little town, even cutting down my stakes, almost ended my career, with the database entries. AND I KNEW BETTER! I had/have networked with many other players who warned me about Reno. It even was the big contentious issue between me and moses. I knew a player couldn't do what he claimed in that little hellhole. But I attempted to play there a couple times a year for 4-5 days at a time anyway and it almost destroyed my career. Forced me to conpletely re-invent how I played.

I am not mad that I learned the hard way, I am mad at myself that I already KNEW before I played there. And for what? 8-9 days a year?

Last Thursday I made a mistake at Chinook Winds high limit slots.

I sat down at a machine, put in my card and a hundred bucks and hit "spin," assuming it was a five dollar credit.

Nope: I didn't realize it was actually a one hundred dollar credit bet

    I lost.

I am not a slot guy (unless I have a reason to be), but I am guessing that is a fairly common mistake.

Similarly with blackjack, occasionally, not often but occasionally, I will sit down at a table, usually one not in my primary rotation that I don't play too often, and after playing for several minutes, I, or sometimes another player will get a blackjack and get paid 6:5 instead of 3:2, and I realize it is a 6:5 table.

Luckily the "damage" is minimal, because I usually discover long before I have gotten my bigger bets out, so it only costs me some wasted time. But there was one time, several years ago, that I was playing heads up, hadn't received a blackjack and the count went max bet territory. I threw out my $400 bet and after a few hands got a blackjack, only to be paid $480 in winnings instead of the expected $600. I was a little pissed. Again mostly at myself.

Just because someone doesn’t pay their taxes doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t making money.

Al Capone made an obscene amount of money & he never paid any taxes
