It’s pretty hard to summarize what actually took place over a three-year period in a couple of paragraphs. The false statement with accusations of misleading a federal investigation turned out to be the hardest charge to rid. It came down to technicalities on how it was allegedly achieved.

I don’t know how many federal cases you are familiar with but you could chalk my case in your books as an outright dismissal. Just from my experience in this one case alone it involved 11 different defendants. The SEC and DOJ with thousands of employees are working on these same type of endless cases year round.
