Now I'm confused. The wired article clearly says the DU option has to be activated by an attendant at the casino. It's not something a player can activate. Now you're telling me Rob activated it, while he was playing? This doesn't line up with the wired article

In those days I got irritated at machines where the double up feature was turned on. LOL! Little did I know. I would switch machines or if no other machines were avaialble I would request them to turn it off. In other words, the DU was already on when I sat down on the machine.
