While you people have been busy complaining about the country, the Great president, and lying about each other and me, I've been out doing what I do best. Later one night last week I dropped into one of the dumpiest places in the most pathetic of areas I could find, to of course scout for any infected double-up machines. The place was Hobey's, in beautiful felon-infested Sun Valley, Nv.

The first thing I noticed on the floor (the bar was shut down due to the fake fear Sisolak has instilled into Washoe County) was the worst pay tables I have ever seen anywhere....including at Redskins casinos. Almost every game is 6/5 at all denominations ($1 was the highest I saw)----BP, DDBP, JoB, etc. I asked for the DU option to be enabled on a few machines I played (lost $75) but no dice. Then I found a 5c thru $1 machine that had the same crappy 6/5 pay table on all denominations for tbp+. This machine worked. After about 40 minutes of turning nickel straight-and-higher winners into dollar winners I was dealt four Aces. Got the signer and left, but not before some incompetent suit grilled me about all my motions while playing, and why I kept asking for DU to be enabled. They turned the machine off as we were talking. I then left.

I'm not going back. There's probably plenty other fish to fry outside of a kitchen full of unknowledgeable casino bosses.

A friend of mine is a young, independent filmmaker specializing in "mob movies." I didn't really understand some of the scenes he wrote where Italian fathers/uncles would go off because a young Italian guy had a black woman in their house or dated a black woman. Eventually, I read up on it a bit. So the issue was that Italians spent so much time lumped with African-Americans that they overreacted to Italians who fraternized with African-Americans.

It turns out that KJ is using somewhat intellectually sophisticated, ironic posts here, by applying the bigotry imposed on Italians most of American history to poke fun at "Singer's" current bigotry. The Italian is guilty of doing what other people did to Italians for most of U.S. existence. And "Singer" aims his bigotry at African-Americans, who Italians were directly lumped with.
