When one personality meets another for the first time, there is a period of mutual examination on the intuitive level of empathy and identification. I've gotta spring for the boxed set of Rawhide. Evidently I didn't quite grasp the full gist watching it as a kid.

Some of us did, especially much earlier on at the other forums, post up a lot of relevant information, from gambling systems, to the theory, if you can call it theory. I mean, again, the ancient mathematicians were fully aware of gambling by the numbers, but, for whichever reason, they didn't pursue and document it.

People left the forums by attrition, over the years. Too little of the copious amounts of such information was of enough value, to them, in the casinos. And, hence, the younger ones saw no reason to become involved at all, with it. Now it's down to the hardcore knuckleheads. Mickey's one "mathematical" paragraph, about vulturing slots, thinly stretched out over a lifetime of baloney. But, it's no different for any of the other so-called AP's here. Their outlooks have become so narrow that they can tolerate little else.

I often wrote also here that, for most of us, life is what you make of it. Go your own way, and, see what happens. Don't become bogged down in all the misery and other garbage of the world. Never let anyone tell you who you are, and what you can and can't do. Let alone a bunch of knucklehead, gambling relics in the middle of nowhere.

It's funny I see posts here and from freddy critical of my return. What I don't see is any mention of the fact that I returned full of criticism, making my case directly to Oncedear and Wizard of some of the things wrong with the forum and their actions. I mean I clearly didn't go back kissing ass did I? I get no credit for that. for speaking up? It is unfortunate that my pointing out one of the inconsistencies contributed to Axelwolf's suspension. I had rather hoped it would go the other way with an acknowledgment that "fiction", is not an insult.

To be honest, I though my comments and criticisms might just lead to a further suspension and was prepared to deal with that. I am glad it didn't. While we all know and are reminded frequently that it is Wizards forum (at least via control now), as well as frequently reminded that it isn't a democracy, I would like to see management just a little more receptive to suggestions and opinion of the membership. After all, there wouldn't have been much of a forum or the financial success Mike benefited from, without the membership. Nothing wrong with allowing a little reasonable input.

Still fairly lax, with some rules being gradually implemented ( some would say happy medium) with PLENTY of action/ knowledge blend from many different characters( still great place). 3- After 2.3 mil sale... Things went SOUTH instantly, it was obvious from the get go, Shank could care less about the place ( he got his PAYDAY) It was ALL about his fragile EGO after that( being picked on NERDBOY in school revenge time)Power tripping and dictatorship at its finest. Like many have said before, most people who still posts there( 10 or so exceptions) are either Cucks/ Simps, Attention Whores, extremely passive( willing to take it dry) and or major self esteem issues.

In his defense, not all of the changes as per your #3 after the sale is due to Wizard. The crackdown on political discussion clearly came from the LCB ownership. As a matter of fact, in the days just prior to the announcement, some of us commented that Josh Change and Zuga were logged on several times a day, which is unusual. It was clear they were concerned about the direction things were going and then the announcement immediately came. And even reading between the lines of Mikes announcement you could see that came from above. That said, who knows what other changes post sale have come from above and not been Wizards doing.

I either wasn't there during your period #1, anything goes, including multiple accounts by Singer (multiple personalities), or if I was there towards the end, I didn't read most of that crap. Period #2 is what drew me to WoV. That was a medium compromise between over-moderation (now) and under moderation (this forum).

I know some of you just love the anything goes of this forum. But if one person challenges another or another's claims on merit, and the only response is name calling and attacks and personal attacks, that is so 3rd grade. Hey your momma is so fat!, hey you mom wears army boots. If that kind of crap is all you have to defend against legitimate challenge, then you really have no defense. In my mind, defending legitimate challenges, whether it be Singer's progressive wagering or MDawgs voodoo whatever, with name calling and personal attacks, is akin to flat out admitting the challenges are correct.

It's obvious a lot of the No Political, gets redirected to the ghost town DV( his own site) So there's benefit for him to ban political speech. Anybody who looks at his behaviour rationally and objectively sees a guy, who so desperately wants a sense of power/ importance ( make up from being bullied in his youth) The writing is on the wall clear as day. If it hadn't been for his sizeable windfall and if he still owned WOV/WOO, things would be RADICALLY different, that's a given.
