I've had dealers tell me what their hole card is (by way of shaking their heads imperceptibly when I'm deciding to hit or not). When their pit bosses aren't around. I've also had pit bosses openly turn over the hole card and show it to me to help me out. But not on table limit bets.

You stick around long enough and you'll see everything.
