They can close the jeopardy thread. Matt lost to a Shaun Deeb look-a-like.
I feel bad, I wasn't trying to stick it to Alan I just wanted to show that people's stories and recollections can't always be trusted when it comes to super rare gambling events. I think he's a good guy for the most part and does have some nice life achievements he should be proud of. When he first chimed and showed "support" for MD's outrageous claims I resisted, but the more he kept posting... it was as if he was bragging and wanting all that stuff to surface again.
Apparently MDogoArgentino doesn't own the forum worth a whopping hundy, where he's the only real member ...Correction I almost forgot about the All Star " Mleus".
So, I began to look into this very data 3 weeks ago, just because I had to be home for a few days and had too much time on my hands. (link to thread below).
I got up to his first 60 days of baccarat play which consisted of 58 winning days and 2 losing. I think the first losing day came 48 or 50 into the streak, when there was a lot of noise at WoV about how he won every session and how "unlikely" that was. So within a day of 2 he posted about a losing day. It consisted of 2 different sessions actually, a losing session of $48,000 followed immediately by a winning session of $38,000 for a net loss for the day of 10k. Oddly that is the only day I found reference to 2 separate sessions. Kind of funny how the second session almost won back the initial losses.
Second losing day was $68,000 loss. Again it was immediately followed by 2 winning days of $28,000 and $25,000 which immediately offset most of that loss.
Those were the only 2 losing sessions recorded in the first 60. I stopped looking at that point as I just couldn't take it anymore.
Now everything talked about so far is his baccarat play. He was ahead half a million at that time. and that was several months ago. Since then the winning, amounts and claims have escalated as some of us predicted. In addition to that in the last month he has been reporting blackjack play. 20 sessions at Double deck, where he "spreads" from $200 or $300 to $5000 or even $10000. So there are 20 blackjack sessions, reported, 18 winning and 2 losing for a net win of $135,675.
But it isn't even any single claim. It is the cumulative that all he does is win (at 90-95% rate rate at everything he does). And the casinos welcome his winning. Dealers and pit pat him on the back telling him, "he is the best they have ever seen" and shower his with all the high end comps including now 7 months free in a high end suite. Because THAT is the way Las Vegas casinos work. They just hand out free bags of money with no questions asked and no concerns, and then comp you everything on top of it for months and years.
Hope this helps Axel.

Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".
I have zero interest in reading his blog. I don't know the details but something related to the site he blogs at has some type of fraud attached to it. Before you get all up in arms, I don't know the details it could be something as simple as a previous person who owned the domain name. Either way, I'm not taking any chances, nor do I feel like taking extra precautions to visit safely.
Your other suggestion about just asking him is a pretty good suggestion, I might try that.
Phil Ivey is paying Ahigh to shoot craps? Todd need to investigate this.
I remember the story about Shoeless Joe from back in the day. It was circulating thru the grapevine right after it happened. One of the stories was after the guy got into the big run Wynn wanted them to get the guy cleaned up with new clothes. So they took the guy clothes shopping.
He had a T-shirt printed up that said:
FUCK STEVE WYNN
And he wore it the rest of the time until they busted him.
The guy never tipped anyone a dime. LOL!!
"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ
The used that story in the first episode of the 2000's tv show "Las Vegas"
Yep that was the first I heard of that story. I don't remember the exact storyline, I am sure they changed some names and details, but basically was the same story.
Many of the storylines for that Las Vegas show (James Caan as head of security) were based (sometimes loosely) on actual events and storylines, at least for the first few years when James Caan was on the show. After that the show became kind of silly with people flying off the roofs of casinos in a gust of wind and crashing into a casino a mile down the strip.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".
And speaking of that show, the way they portrayed the casino hosts and how they get paid, (they make money when their players lose money) is very different than the way one of our current great "storytellers" is presenting it. Can you imagine the beautiful, yet very aggressive, young lady that played Casino host SAM, comping a winning player a high end suite for 7 months.
I know ADT is part of it, but there has to be a point that if that ADT doesn't turn into the expected loss, somebody is pulling the plug.

EB quitting WoV???
Who thinks he'll be back?
Evenbob, the Top Poster turned his back on WOV, telling WOV off. Wow. You know this is some VERY serious shit when the Top Poster walked away, telling it off. Boz did something similar, but his was the reverse. He made it clear that he wanted WOV to ban him, he didn't walk off himself. And Boz was NOT a Top Poster. The Top Poster basically saying,"Fuck WOV, this place has turned to shit, I'm out," is actually a pivotal moment in WOV History.

Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanantly banned.

I am glad to get my full posting rights back! Thank you Dan!
You know what would be even more shocking then Spike's hiatus( time will tell) #2 man AlexWolf telling his buddy Rusty to shove it !.................. Nah not in this lifetime !
Axel is in red as well.
Boz is not a top poster, but Evenbob is? What a joke! Top Posters should be measured by quality not quantity. No decent forum rewards posters with extra recognition for commenting on every single things said. That is recognizing the top trolls.
I have never appreciated Evenbob's style. To me it was trolling. He would walk right up to the line of insulting others without crossing. That does not a "top" poster make. Tell me what he has contributed that anyone else is better for?
That said, What Evenbob said as he resigned is exactly right. If someone like him can't figure out the rules, what is ok and what isn't (which changes day to day), then what chance does anyone else have? Hell even the mods now don't seem to know anymore and have to check with Wizard or are over ruled by Wizard. It is ridiculous.
The problem with that forum is the very thing that made it special 10 years ago....Michael Shackleford. Of course 10 years ago, he gave a shit, now he doesn't. He thinks it is a big joke. I think it is too late for WoV to recover and be anything other that the troll forum all these forums have now become, but if there is any chance at all, Wizard needs to step aside from moderation. He could still participate if he wants and no doubt would receive special treatment but he should not be calling the shots. (t)Eliot is a freind of Mike's....read what he wrote today because he is 100% correct.
On a real gambling forum math is God. Freedom of speech is a joke when it defies the math. That is not to say that anyone that comes along claiming something that defies math and reality like 18 y.o.'s in a row or 60 winning hands of blackjack in a row (and other claims that same person has made) should be banned or anything. They should be free to make their claims....THAT is your freedom of speech!
But the mods and other members HAVE to be allowed to push back in the name of math and over and over and over again, if the person keeps repeating their baloney, which seems to be the playbook these days.
None of it will happen. WoV will just continue it's descent into full blow voodoo forum where the trolls are protected and the decent posters, real players, math guys and just anyone based in reality continue to walk away. . I mean it is really already there.
I meant Top Poster in terms of quantity when I said Evenbob is The Top Poster (Not visible anymore on the Top Poster list since he self banned) I will give you your credit, Kewlj for sticking to your word and NOT going back to WOV like you said you wouldn't. People assumed you would go running right back to WOV as soon as your Month was up, and you didn't and still haven't. That is something commendable.
About Evenbob's "Goodbye," thread, I JUST realized all of the Poll choices are NEGATIVE. NONE of them are anything like,"Please don't leave," giving even MORE credence to how absolutely serious he is about leaving WOV.
